Gran ubicación, solo un pequeño detalle
Pros:

Casa Merlin está a 5 minutos de la mejor playa de la zona, así que por ese lado excelente.
El desayuno delicioso y la señora de la cocina sumamente amable y servicial.
No puedo decir algo negativo del lugar pero si puedo sugerir que el portón sea eléctrico ya que puerto viejo tiene un clima impredecible y es muy feo bajarse a abrir o cerrar el portón bajo el aguacero.

Pros:

El lugar está en perfectas condiciones, es cómodo y seguro. La ubicación es muy buena a unos metros de Playa Chiquita. El desayuno vale la pena. El personal está pendiente y es muy amable. Pudimos dejar guardado el equipaje mientras esperábamos el cheking. La habitación tenía todo lo necesario para nuestra estancia.

Pros:

Super Lage, nur wenige Schritte von einem wirklich menschenleeren Strand entfernt. Die Geräusche drum rum waren ebenso ein Traum, wie im Dschungel :) Das Frühstück war eines der besten, die wir in Costa Rica hatten, und wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, erreicht man auch von dort alles problemlos. Das Jaguar Rescue Center, das wir besuchen wollten, ist problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen, und wir durften in der Zeit (nach Check-out) das Auto stehen lassen.

Cons:

Es könnte etwas sauberer sein. Die meisten vor uns hatten wahrscheinlich die Klimaanlage an, als wir den Ventilator anmachten, kam einige Staubfussel von oben runter.

Centrale ma da migliorare
Pros:

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura e, nel complesso, l’esperienza è stata discreta. Il punto forte è sicuramente la posizione: centrale e comodissima per spostarsi e visitare la zona.

Le camere però avrebbero bisogno di maggiore cura e manutenzione. Ho riscontrato un po’ di umidità negli ambienti e i bagni risultano piuttosto datati. Inoltre, la pulizia potrebbe essere migliorata, soprattutto per quanto riguarda l’anticalcare nel bagno.

Nel complesso non è stato un soggiorno negativo, ma con qualche attenzione in più alla pulizia e al rinnovo delle camere la struttura potrebbe offrire un’esperienza decisamente migliore.

Buena opción para alojarse en Puerto Viejo
Pros:

Estaba en una zona tranquila y cerca de la playa chiquita. Llegamos tarde para hacer el check in pero no hubo ningún inconveniente, nos dieron las indicaciones claras para acceder a la habitación.

La habitación está muy bien, tiene una nevera, tele y aire acondicionado.
El lugar donde se sirve el desayuno es muy bonito y la comida está muy rica.

Cons:

La almohada es demasiado grande y dura, super incómoda para dormir. Teniendo en cuenta que ponen 2 almohadas por persona, sería ideal que fueran de diferentes tamaños para poder elegir.

A budget resort close to the beach
Pros:

Spacious, a nice beach short walk away. It had a pool which was a nice bonus to cool down after the day at the beach. The price was reasonable comparing to other properties in the area.

Cons:

There was nobody there to greet us after the arrival, we have only received instructions via Whatsapp regarding keys, code etc.
It was difficult to sleep due to the monkeys constantly throwing the seeds on the roof of our property. The roof was leaking and our beds got soaking wet after the rainy night. The breakfast choice at the resort's restaurant was very limited, no gluten free choice and the staff wasn't English speaking so communication was difficult.
The cleanliness of the property could be improved, there was visible mould on the windows etc.

Mooie plek
Pros:

De prachtige tuin, een bijzondere en heerlijke plek om te zijn.
Het lekkere zwembad.
We waren blij dat de eigenaar ons de mogelijkheid bood om te upgraden naar een huisje. Ons huisje had twee grote terrassen met veel privacy en meubilair, erg fijn.

Cons:

Zonder eigen vervoer is de locatie een beetje ver van de leuke plekken.

Dit mooie resort verdient wat meer liefde.

De eerste nacht verbleven we in een standaard kamer. Die vonden we erg gehorig en had weinig privacy.

In ons huisje misten we goede gordijnen. Er hingen alleen doorzichtige witte dunne gordijntjes, waardoor het licht bleef. De tuinverlichting was de hele nacht aan.
