Localisation et l’extérieur de l’hôtel.

Cons:

Chambre vétuste. Climatisation beaucoup trop bruyante pour la laisser la nuit. Salle de bain dans un mauvais état. Le prix de la chambre est beaucoup trop cher par rapport à la qualité.

Beautiful hotel with the best views of Aswan
Pros:

Beautiful property situated on the highest point in the city. I had a great view of the Nile and the mountains from my room.

Cons:

The rooms are a bit outdated and the hallways are quite warm, but I didn’t dislike the property. It was nice overall.

Camere ampie pulite e molto curate.
Piscina molto bella e aperta fino a dopocena… opportunità preziosa con le temperature di Aswan. Struttura dell’hotel molto affascinante.

Vielfältiges, ägyptisches und internationales Frühstücksbuffet, grosszügige Zimmer, aufmerksamer Zimmerservice. Die hilfsbereite Rezeption, immer mit einem Lächeln (arab. Basma heisst zu deutsch Lächeln), ermöglichte uns einen Late-Check-Out ohne Aufpreis.

Cons:

Leider war der Pool oft von Männern und Kindern dominiert. Warme Gerichte beim Frühstück manchmal lauwarm.

Pros:

Really nice service very attentitive staff looking after your every need. The swimming pool was nice too. The view from the terrace is really beautiful at sunset

The facilities are a little dated but it is the off season and you can see they are putting in the effort to update them. Look forward to coming back and seeing it

L'hotel è bellissimo, con quel sapore di antico. Dopo aver alloggiato a Giza, arrivare in questo hotel è stato un sogno. Personale super simpatico e disponibile, ottimo servizio lavanderia. Camere enormi e pulite. Ottima posizione! Consigliato!

Loved the custumer service at Basma
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful with a nice area to see the sunset and a nice pool . Reham from guess services made our stay special she arrange taxis for us and was always available to answer any questions a true gem. Within walking distance to the Nubian museum.

A very special spot. I wish we could have stayed longer
Pros:

This review is of the Basma Executive Club. We booked the Basma Hotel but because it was low season (summer) and our air conditioner wasn’t cooling enough for us, they kindly upgraded us to the Executive Club. This is a two-story building a bit up the hill from the main hotel. Our experience at the Executive Club was outstanding. It was like an oasis of luxury. The staff, including Adam, Mohammad, Mr. Gerges, and Mariam looked after us so well. There was a lovely continental breakfast included and juice delivered to us when we returned from the day and at the pool. There is a shared pool and beautiful terrace with panoramic view. You also have access to the larger pool and restaurant at the main hotel for breakfast if you choose. The Basma Executive Club has a relaxed but elevated vibe. If I returned to Aswan I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

De passage à Assouan pour une nuit, nous avons fait une halte avant Abu Simbel et nous avons été super bien accueilli.

An oasis beside the Nile
Pros:

Clean up market hotel perched on top of a hill for commanding views over the Nile.
Service was fantastic everywhere especially Abdalla in the restaurant.

Cons:

Would have said the air con but we just didn’t know how to operate it to get it colder. Very important when the outside temp was reaching the mid 40s!
