Great outdoor and indoor pool. My daughter loved the gardens and ponds. Great breakfast !
Almost zero mobile signal so impossible to phone landlines or receive texts if you need 2 factor authentication to access apps or accounts. Unbelievable in 2026 but I understand planning restrictions leave the UK with one of the worse mobile service networks in the world.
The professionalism and friendliness of the staff.
Beautiful setting.
Nothing
Well maintained grounds
Exceptionally helpful staff
Good facilities
Lovely breakfast
Lounge food was poor quality and incredibly over priced. I appreciate it's not the main restaurant but there's no excuse for serving shop bought oven pizzas and charge £20 for the privilege.
Het ontbijt was heel goed met een ruime keuze voor ieder wat wils.
Prijs-kwaliteit: we hadden een ruime kamer, maar deze was verouderd alsook de badkamer.
Cooked options were excellent. Would have liked a more varied fresh fruit option eg fresh fruit salad or compost.
Air conditioning in our room.
Better headroom . My husband is over 6 foot so being in a room in the eaves was difficult.
Nice hotel and gardens
Our room was absolutely roasting hot, they had the radiators on in the bathrooms had to get them turned off. They supply fans but they are little to no good. Went as a family all struggled to sleep. If I knew the rooms were as hot as they were we wouldn’t have stayed. Swimming pool was dirty. Pillows has stains on them. Overall not impressed
Very luxurious . Great pools .
Felt quite Grand
Staff were extremely good - every single one of them !
Food was excellent .
No lift - but that’s the only negative
Stunning hotel, lovely grounds and outdoor pool
Service in restaurants was terrible. Long wait food with mains arriving about 10:30 to late to eat. No aircon in bedrooms
Breakfast was good and the location is beautiful.
I was expecting a better room and I had to wait more than 1/2 an hour for my food to arrive at the main restaurant.
A beautiful, classy and very comfortable hotel in an amazing location.

Amazing setting. Truly relaxing
No aircon in the room
Lovely hotel and grounds. Will return. But drink prices too high. £6 for a can of coke and £19 for a pimms is too high.
Drinks prices too high. No consistency in size of tea. Paid £6 for a large pot of tea for 2 on first day. On second day we were charged £12. We should be refunded the £6. Interested to see if hotel contact me.
It’s lovely, beautiful surroundings
Prices are very high, you pay the same at Ritz central London for a meal
Very good.
Our 3rd to this hotel.
the breakfast was an hour late in the balcony in a hotel needs cleaning it's filthy for the money you are paying for
