We had a pool access room that faced the beach and I liked that I could manage to get in and out of the pool. The pool was wide enough and long enough that I could get some exercise by doing laps, it also had a water slide for the little and not so little children. Breakfast was included in our stay and the eggs were cooked on request. It was only a five minute walk to the night market nearby. Any staff we spoke to were very friendly and breakfast staff were always helpful.
The room was like an underground bunker with all grey concrete walls and ceiling. The kettle and coffee mugs were placed on a bedside table due to there being no other space to keep them, except the bench space "under" where you need to hang your clothes. My dresses had no chance of hanging neatly as they hit the top of the small bench space where the safe was, and the hair dryer (coz it won't fit anywhere in the bathroom). That was also the only place to put your tablet/laptop to charge, but no chair or desk to use them at. There was a little fridge under that bench space, that had an ice tray to make ice which was good, until - the fridge turns off when you take the card out to leave the room, so anything cold is no longer cold when you come back, and the ice is melted. Lucky I didn't have medication that needed to be refrigerated. Most hotels have the fridge on a different circuit so it stays working when everything else is turned off. There were no draws so everything pretty much had to stay in the case the whole time and that is not ideal for a six night stay. The tray of toiletries in the bathroom had to be put on the floor under the sink, to make room for our toiletry bags. There is no shelf in the shower, so anything needed apart from basics included, had to sit on the floor, plus it flooded every time you had a shower due to a gap under the shower screen. Oh, and when you turn on the shower (room was 102), the bedside light starts to flicker for an instant disco effect so that was a bit scary. Breakfast was basic, all the hot food was warm at best, no bacon, and no croissants, plus any other bakery items (apart from the bread) seemed to be a bit dry or stale and you could not warm them up. There was a coffee machine, but we discovered it had ants living in it, so you had to scoop them out of the cup before you could drink whatever you made.
It’s very central to everything, opposite the beach where you can view the most amazing sunsets and far enough from the main strip so it’s not so loud.
The breakfast and cleaning staff were very friendly. The manager was very helpful.
If you like elephants please visit the only REAL ethical sanctuary in Krabi (I researched) called Following Giants, there is no feeding, no bathing, no riding and no touching - you get to walk and observe from afar - it was truly amazing to see so many elephants rescued.
I upgraded because the room I was given didn’t have a working balcony door lock and they couldn’t fix it in time. If you stay here I would opt for the rooms overlooking the private pool at the back as they are larger in size.
The reception staff were not very approachable. One of them kept wearing a COVID face mask, not sure if they were ill but it doesn’t look good for front desk staff and were not particularly helpful.

Great location on the oceanfront, the breakfast room has a view over the sea - just lovely. Breakfast food was excellent, staff were very friendly & helpful. Located next to Landmark night market, we chose a garden facing room so noise was not a problem. Good air conditioning in the rooms, great to have a small balcony to sit and a rack to dry wet swimwear & towels. Tour booking and laundry service right out front, free parking for the scooter and the pool was beautiful and clean with a fun waterslide for the kids (and us adults enjoyed it too). Very clean hotel and nice to have areas to sit with the ocean breeze. The hotel didn't have conjoined rooms so they provided us with 2 rooms close together which was ideal.
The food was so good at breakfast it is a shame we couldn't have lunch or dinner there also. The gym is right in the entranceway and all glass so I didn't feel comfortable to do a workout in front of everyone entering the lobby. The tiles around the pool are very slippery!!
Nice swimming pool, good location next to the ao nang night market. Good to book day trips around there too.

Step in shower
Position was good
Very noisy from slamming doors (need to put closing cushion to quieten door closure) and loud conversations in the hallway prevented a restful sleep. Rooms are tiny with barely space to stand a suitcase upright and nowhere to place anything. The room in serious need of repainting. The current look is absolute dreadful.
