Well worth the money
Pros:

The staff were welcoming and helpful, especially Yota. Breakfast was insanely good and lots of options. Everything in the room was perfect and just what you'd want from a city hotel.

Cons:

Not a problem that can be fixed, but for guests wanting to sleep in, the Church bells opposite ring every hour from about 7am.

Pros:

The location was perfect. I felt the place had more charm and felt more luxurious then one of the luxury hotels I stayed at in Athens, which was 3 times more expensive.

Simple accommodations, great location.
Pros:

The location was outstanding. Breakfast was outstanding.

Cons:

There isn’t a lobby or concierge service. We had a “fill-in” who was lovely but had to call someone with our questions. No maps, reservations are on your own. No problem if you’ve been to Athens before. Website shows a view of the Acropolis, no view.
No towel hooks so your damp, used towels are lying on the floor.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location, with comfortable beds and a very thoughtful courtesy kit, which we really appreciated. The housekeeping staff were excellent: extremely attentive, efficient and quick.

Cons:

Unfortunately, the soundproofing is quite poor, and almost every noise from the corridor can be heard inside the room.

The main issue, however, was the breakfast, served at La Durée, on the hotel ground floor.

The quality of the food was excellent, but the staff seemed very disorganized. On our second morning, we waited +1 hour for our breakfast and more than 30 minutes just for a coffee. The breakfast service is definitely not at the same level as the hotel itself.

Amazing stay - big room and bathroom, comfortable stay
Pros:

The room was big and comfortable! My husband and I had such a great stay as it was the first night we landed for our honeymoon. Bed and pillows were so comfortable! Bathroom was big. Location is excellent and so central. Nothing was more than 10-15 mins away from the hotel. Staff were so helpful. Totally recommend staying here again!

Great hotel in the amazing location of Plaka.
Pros:

The location, the customer service (Emmanuela, thank you for sorting out our transport). The breakfast was delicious, a great deal of choice to suit everyone.

Cozy hotel at the center of Athens
Pros:

I liked the vibe of the hotel. It's amazing. The stuff was amazing also. The location is excellent. Despite there is no facilities it's on walking distance from everything at the center.
The mitropoleos square at the hotel entrance gives you a feeling that you are another place . Definitely I will book it again.

Cons:

No facilities I didn't checked it since it's 4 star hotel but practically had nothing.

Pros:

Tot. Ubicació perfecta, i les persones de recepció eren molt amables.
Esmorzar fabulós a la cafeteria/boutique del mateix hotel, molt complet, boníssim i saludable.
Habitacions grans i espaioses, excel·lentment situat on comença el barri de Plaka, només de posar un peu al carrer, ja es pot veure el Partenó.

Bel établissement, idéalement situé.
Pros:

La chambre très confortable. Bonne literie. Belle salle de bain. Très bien situé. Rue piétonne, L’emplacement à côté de la Cathédrale est à 2 pas des différents quartiers et points d’intérêt Le personnel très agréable. Le petit déjeuner dans l établissement La Durée situé au Rez de Chaussée. Une belle expérience. Très bon rapport qualité prix

Cons:

A noter que le petit déjeuner chez La Durée peut ne pas correspondre aux besoins de jeunes enfants ou d’ados (ce n’est pas buffet à volonté) ou à des personnes pressées. Ici il faut apprécier de prendre son temps.
