Great value for money, in a gorgeous spot and lovely location
Pros:

Gorgeous spot! Chic bar with live piano music, such a lovely touch. The room was cute and well equipped. And, Prosecco in the mini bar was a lovely complimentary touch!

Cons:

Nothing, but the mini bar could have been cooler. Minor gripe!

Lovely comfortable hotel in quiet part of Birmingham
Pros:

The location is fabulous, a lovely area of Birmingham. Lots of little restaurants and bars and the Indian Brewery. The hotel bar area is comfortable and nice outside seating for a lovely warm evening. Bottles of Prosecco in the fridge

Cons:

Only 4 milk capsules, no biscuits, no lift

Good location, bar and parking. Questionable maintenance in our room
Pros:

The parking is easy to access and feels safe.
The bar is characterful with friendly staff
Air conditioning and wifi worked well and the bedding was comfortable.
The location on St Paul's Square is nice.

Cons:

The shower didn't drain so mid shower, we had to unblock it. We found a huge mat of hair ... really unpleasant.

The fridge didn't work either.

Breakfast was limited, although there were additional options you could purchase if you wished. This felt out of kilter with the price we paid.

I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying again in future.
Pros:

Location is very convenient, and the staff were helpful. Outstanding late night door security staff - Levi’s considerate and welcoming attitude was A+ and hugely appreciated.

Cons:

Reception and bar looked clean and welcoming and the staff are welcoming.
Room - sorry to say there was a dreadful blind in the room eg not good enough to kill the light outside. Kettle cannot be filled from the sink.
Walls in room near bed were a little scuffed/dirty, carpet needed a deeper clean than it gets. Windows need repainted and why they need to be completely locked shut is beyond me - locks do exist to allow a few inches of fresh air in…
A functioning lift would’ve been helpful too. Having said all that none of the above was so extreme that would make me reconsider staying here again.

Pros:

Brilliant location, staff are lovely, food is excellent. Downstairs area is lovely.

Cons:

Lift broken, rooms are a bit dated/ not the same standard as downstairs. The bed isn't the most comfortable. Prosecco in room a lovely touch but the fridge didn't seem very cold.

Fab, central and funky
Pros:

Funky place in a lovely bit of town. Rooms were nice and the complinentary touches in the fridge made it feel special. Only thing is that no option of room with a bigger than double bed available which my friends would have found nice...even if more money.
