Long haul layover
Pros:

Kuala Lumpur is my new 24 hour layover base before flying to destinations that are too expensive to book from Australia. Hotels near KLIA are value for money. There is a great buffet restaraunt close by. Stopping at the same hotel on the way back.

Cons:

TV not working.

Very basic but good value for money.
Pros:

Very clean. Filtered water dispenser available.
Snacks, bottled water and cup noodles available for sale at reception.
Location is a rm7 Grab car ride away from Salak Tinggi ERL station which is then rm4.90 train to KLIA1. Or directly rm30 for Grab from airport.

Cons:

No lift! You'll have to lug heavy suitcase up staircase to first floor - unless cleaner guy is around to help.
