The owner just didn’t send the informations to check in, we had to book a hostel for the 1st night. WiFi doesn’t work in the apartment 3, no range. My mom didn’t sleep because of the noice caused by the neighbours

There were no clean dishes in the kitchen - all dirty in the dishwasher (which we only noticed after trying to have dinner all with one fork). The staff is unresponsive. We waited for 4 h after check-in time before they sent us the entrance codes. They kept asking for the WhatsUp contact, which is strange because we were calling and texting them for 4 hours to get the codes. They only sent the codes after I called Booking customer service. There were burnt-out cigarette butts and half-empty cans outside the studio entrance, which we had to clean up ourselves.

The bathroom and main room was dirty
The shower was broken - apparently this was fixed during our stay but it wasn't
There was hardly any kitchen utensils
The microwave wasn't plugged in and was too high to use anyway
There wasn't really anywhere comfortable to sit but the room is too small to put a chair

Before I even checked in, I was asked for a 5 star review, not a good start….
In the bathroom, only one hand towel for two people. When I asked for two bath towels, I was told one was enough. Didn’t get a bath mat until the last day. The shower was full of mildew. I had to ask for more toilet paper…what place wouldn’t have a couple extra rolls?
The room is small but I expected that. The wifi never reached our room and we had to buy extra data to compensate.
The walls need a complete cleaning, marks and stains all over. There’s paint peeling on the ceiling.
Two taxi drivers warned us it was an unsafe area. The place is near a main street so traffic noise was clearly heard all night.

Bad

We turned up at the forst location and they have given us a small double instead of the family suite we had booked. Area pretty dodgy and the smell of weed from the ghetto neighbours was overwhelming. The host then offered us another option 10 mins in cab away. We arrived to find the beds were so uncomfortable that there was no way we could stay. We also felt a bit off put by the employees access door directly into our apartment. Didnt feel safe. The area is full of junkies also.

The place was really dirty, the sheets and the walls were covered with dirt spots, nothing had been cleaned since a long time. There is no reception and the address is hard to find. The walls are super thin and some have holes in it. Just behind, there is an unsafe neighbourhood.

The listing says there is parking but there really isn't. There is a spot on the sidewalk on a very narrow one way street that you can only use if there isn't another car parked nearby.
The check-in communication was very poor. He gave me a code to get in the gate but did not tell me the key was in a lockbox or give me the lockbox code. I needed to call to get that code.
There wasn't even a full roll of toilet paper and there was no extra paper in the apartment. We had to call him to get us paper and he said he would and didn't. We had to call him again before he finally got us more toilet paper for the apartment.

I would have liked earlier communication, a message to say that my booking was received and how to find the place/ get inside. I was a little worried when I hadn’t received instructions and was ready to head to the room. Although, I must add, when I messaged the owner, I did get a very quick response.

He gave us the wrong property in some employee section attic that was still under construction with no bathroom apart from a tiny shared one with the staff. There was mold all over it and it was in a unsafe location

Had to ring for check in instructions. The cleaner knocked twice asking us to leave even though we had booked and paid for 2 nights. Water shut off but was promptly fixed. Smell of weed in the hallway and Someone tried to enter our bedroom
