Fine for a one-night stay
Pros:

The room was clean and tidy. The restaurant food was really good. The airport transfer — both ways — was organized very efficiently.

Cons:

The furniture is quite dated. Street noise came through at night, which was a bit annoying.

Convenient Airport Hotel with good Shuttle Service
Pros:

We needed somewhere to stay in Male because our overnight flight had been cancelled. Amber Beach ticked all the boxes. They picked us up from Velana and in 10 minutes we were at the hotel. We had a light snack that evening and slept really well. Although breakfast was included, we were picked up at 7am and didn't feel like it. The hotel transport ran on time and we were met by a respresentative of the hotel at the airport. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant and helpful. Totally adequate airport hotel.

The balcony was small and the hot water took a long time to come through

The location was good. Staff were friendly. Breakfast buffet. Hotel pick up and drop off was excellent

The furnishings were of very poor quality. The hotel price was very expensive for the standard of hotel.
