Amber Beach Hotel at Hulhumale

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, taking great care of us from arrival to departure. The breakfast was delicious and gave us a great start to each day. We really enjoyed our stay, and if we have the chance to visit the Maldives again, we would be happy to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel with outstanding service and truly honest, kind staff.

We stayed at this hotel for only one night, but the level of service and care was honestly much better than I expected.

We arrived very early in the morning, around 4:00 AM, and I contacted the hotel just about 30 minutes before arrival asking if they could help arrange transport from the airport. Even with such short notice and at such an early hour, they organized a private transfer for us. The transfer normally costs around $15, but they did not charge us anything. They also provided the return transfer back to the airport free of charge.

When we arrived at the hotel around 6:00 AM, they immediately gave us one of the rooms so we could rest and sleep after the flight. This was a very kind and thoughtful gesture.

Breakfast was also very good and included in the stay. They prepare fresh eggs to order, and even when I arrived late for breakfast, the staff still kindly served everything without any problem.

The rooms are not large, but they are clean, comfortable and well maintained. The bed linen was fresh, and the rooms were perfectly fine for a short stay or even a few days.

I also want to mention the honesty and professionalism of the staff. There was a small accidental charge of $24, but the team immediately apologized and returned the money without any discussion.

The most impressive moment was after check-out. I accidentally left my Apple Watch in the room. The hotel found it immediately and then organized its delivery to the atoll where I was staying the next day. The manager personally went to the airport, handed the watch over to the Holiday Inn representative, and the watch was delivered safely to my resort. I collected it from the reception the next day. Everything was handled perfectly.

For me, the most important thing in a hotel is not only the building or the number of stars, but the honesty, kindness and attitude of the people working there.

Neat and tidy rooms with all amenities in the room. Bang on the beach. We had an early morning seaplane transfers and they packed some breakfast for us. Friendly staff.

Der Blick aufs Meer und das Zimmer waren sehr schön und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Der Transfer zum Hotel hat absolut super funktioniert und wir wurden pünktlich abgeholt und auch der Rücktransfer zum Flughafen waren einwandfrei. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und für einen Zwischenstopp zum Flughafen sehr gut geeignet. Es gibt genug Supermärkte und Restaurants in der Gegend.

We recently stayed at the Amber Beach Hotel and had a truly wonderful experience, largely thanks to the incredible staff who go above and beyond for their guests.
A huge thank you to Mr. Arjun Haldorai, one of the managers, who gave us a warm reception. He was incredibly helpful and polite, handling all our requests and logistics seamlessly. He even went out of his way to decorate our room, which made us feel so incredibly special! To add to that, the views from our room were absolutely marvelous.
Wherever we travel, I am a big fan of breakfast, and Amber Beach exceeded my expectations. It was always a highlight, especially thanks to Ibrahim, a key manager in the kitchen, who took amazing care of us and made us feel like family every single morning.
We enjoyed Hulhumale Beach and town, and Male, and Maafushi Island very much during our stay at Amber Beach Hotel.
Our departure was completely stress-free thanks to Arjun again, and Haran, who drove us to the airport and handled our luggage with extreme professionalism. I would also like to thank all the other staff members, namely Anis and Sankar for housekeeping, Sajid at the front desk, Ridoy at breakfast, Rouf the air conditioning technician, and everyone else. And everyone is an asset to this great hotel management company.
The teamwork here is fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel for its top-notch hospitality!
