The comfort and the views !
Location on the lake was beautiful.
The staff weren’t overly warm and it felt a bit stuck up. Bit disappointing.
The property is very clean and the staff are friendly .
The food and drinks are so overpriced ! The vodka was £16-50 / Gin -£15-50!! You then had to add your mixer on . Silly prices ! It’s a shame that let it down . The sitting area doesn’t have music on so it’s like a library, everyone can hear your conversations. . Our room was 17- the curtains wouldn’t close on 1 of the bedroom windows , so I couldn’t sleep as the light came in . I reported to the reception , 1 member of staff spoke to me but said he couldn’t do anything & the general manager would contact me . I am still waiting for any response! It’s not good enough ,they have had your money so they are clearly not interested . This was our anniversary, a night away , so when I couldn’t sleep it’s just the not acceptable . Customer service extremely poor.
Location superb. Breakfast and evening meals very good. Staff were professional approachable and friendly
No lift
Restaurant staff very friendly & polite, one lady in particular ( with a hair bun ) was so charming and nothing was too much when it came to breakfast wishes e.g. cheese for my wife. The grounds are so peaceful when you sit outside for drinks etc and the view over the lake is a dream.
The hotel was excellent, staff exceptional, attention to detail was perfect.
The air conditioning unit was very noisy during the night?
Great location and staff were absolutely excellent.
The hotel is comfortable and we had a nice meal in the Bistro restaurant
The lake view from our room could only be viewed by standing up in the corner of the room. Given we had paid more for a lake view it wasn’t quite what we expected
it was beautiful. The location was perfect, I felt quite safe wandering about the grounds on my own even in the evening.
we looked on to the field with the sheep which I liked.
our room was way above my expectations.
We had room 8 essentially two adjoined rooms with a huge bed which was exceedingly comfortable.
I slept really well which was great as I'm recovering from a fractured shoulder and it was very comfortable.
great power shower in the en-suite.
The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. The chef was extra helpful helping me tweak my dietary issues.
it’s a beautiful hotel with great staff.
I love having windows that open as I dislike air-conditioning.
Having to go home!
Great location right on a lake with lovely grounds. Beds were comfortable. Lovely views from the lake side facing rooms.
Meals had to be booked at a set time which gives limited flexibility when you are on holiday.
The food and service were excellent. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast being completely served at the table was just as it should be. So relaxing. The rooms were very comfortable.

The property is beautiful and in an amazing location. Room was very comfortable, there was even a TV on the wall opposite the bath. Great for a soak.
Food was beautiful never had a menu with starter and main for breakfast and to enjoy it in the conservatory was delightful.
Staff were all bright and cheerful and nothing was a trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you
Only that we didn’t stay longer
Wonderful position on the lake, great views from our bedroom and lounges. Staff of course were well trained and helpful. A delightful 2 day stay.
