Important information:

Please note that there is no travel (both flights or the ferry) to and from the Isles of Scilly on Sundays in April, May, June, September and October. In July and August the ferry does operate on Sundays. However, flights still do not operate on Sundays. Please take this into account when booking your trip to the Isles of Scilly.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.
Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
A deposit may be required at the property.

We were given the smallest room in the history of hotel rooms which rather spoilt the trip especially as we there with my brother who had a room more than twice the size and 33% cheaper!

Prime location and of course the wonderful views.
Pros:

Excellent choice and service. They set up a table on the landing near our room so that we didn’t have to leave our dog who suffers from separation anxiety.

Cons:

Room size not as large as we expected for the cost.
No comfortable chairs or sofa in our room to relax on.

Rooms are lovely restaurants are very good, location has great views, but a bit of a climb up from the town
Pros:

Excellent food, very helpful friendly staff

Cons:

No where to sit indoors to have a drink or cup of tea. The bar is the old dungeon, novel but not somewhere you want spend too much time.

Frustrating
Pros:

Meals were good both breakfast and dinner. Transport question could not answer correctly as we were booked on skybus both ways, only to find on the way home and arrived at the airport they had transferred us to the ferry, saying the plane we were flying on had been cancelled with no notice given to us before we arrived. There is quite a difference in cost, for which I am expecting a refund, also instead of arriving home about 5.00pm we arrived home after midnight. I will never book skybus again and would not recommend them to anybody, as apparently this happens quite frequently, so we have been told by other people standing in a queue at the ferry terminal.

Cons:

I believe what I said above covers it all.

Das Essen war Sterneniveau!!!! Es war fantastisch!! Nicht zu übertrefffen in Darbietung und Geschmack!! Wir haben jeden Gang geliebt und genossen. Der Ausblick vom Zimmer war atemberaubend!

Nichts !! Es war ein wunschlos glücklicher Urlaub im Hotel!

Süßes Zimmer im Turm.

Cons:

Made our stay on the Scilly Isles complete.
Pros:

Totally stunning place to stay. Packed with oodles of history, it is a fascinating place to stay. All of the staff without exception went the extra mile; from Spider who collected us and dropped us off at the airport, to Kial & Sarah who kept us informed beforehand and throughout our stay (recommending Rafe who helped us explore the islands) and to Ollie & Alex in the bar and the host of amazing waiting staff.
The food was top notch.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing… it was totally awesome.
