Établissement au calme, en dehors de la ville ! Ça change après avoir passé plusieurs jours au Caire. La chambre était propre. Les petits-déjeuners étaient bons, avec un très bon thé. L'hôte propose des excursions et de l'aide.

Had a lovely, spontaneous weekend.
Pros:

I booked quite spontaneously, and everything went perfectly. There was direct communication with the owner after booking. Since I know and love Luxor, I was looking for something small and centrally located with a pool for myself and my two children; we had a lovely weekend. The owner (like everyone else there) was very friendly, helpful, and always easy to reach. The pool, the grounds, and the rooms were all very clean. We missed breakfast one day, but it was no problem—a meal was prepared for us later, and on the first morning, my coffee was even brought to my room. The owner is also great to chat with. The children had fun and felt comfortable, too. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Mr. Medhat

Pros:

I had an excellent stay at Luxor View Hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Their hospitality and attention to detail made a real difference.

I highly recommend Luxor View Hotel and would definitely stay here again!

It was a lovely stay at this hotel. The family were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. They organised everything for us and gave us tours of the attractions in Luxor. The food there was excellent and would highly recommend. They also do the best tea we have ever had. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Pros:

We were as at home: delicious meals, clear rooms, hospitality, wonderful swimming pool.
We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much.
Luxor is also magnificent.

Cons:

The hotel is rather far from the centre, but there's no problem with the transfer. I also recommend to try route minibus and ferry. It'll help to understand the local life

Positive:

The owner welcomed us with a complimentary fresh lemon juice, which was a lovely gesture. We also had lunch at the property (paid), and it was delicious and reasonably priced (around US$6). The air conditioning and hot water worked perfectly. There is also a beautiful swimming pool, although we didn’t have the chance to use it. The rooms are basic but comfortable.

No complimentary bottled water was provided, although there are local mini markets nearby where you can buy some.

Unfortunately, there were ants in the beds, and we were bitten during our stay.

The owner was very eager to promote additional services such as private drivers, tours, and even asked us to leave a review while we were still there. Although he was helpful, the constant sales approach became overwhelming. He would often come over to talk about services we hadn’t requested while we were eating, which made meals less relaxing. He also seemed unhappy when I chose to book a taxi with someone else.

Breakfast requires choosing a specific time in advance. On our first morning, we weren’t informed about this, so we missed breakfast. The following days we scheduled it without any issues. The breakfast was good, but not the most complete.

My experience at Luxor View Hotel was great. The owner was incredibly hospitable and made sure my family and I were well taken care of from the moment we arrived. The hotel was quiet and peaceful. I really appreciated that the pool was clean and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!
