An excellent hotel for an overnight stay in Thurso.
Pros:

The reasonable price. A room with a view of the river. Great staff. Good food at a sensible price in the restaurant.

Cons:

A tiny detail-our room would have benefited from a small table.

Very disappointing
Cons:

Room was dirty, toilet had not been cleaned, bed had been used, bath mat was deteriorating, towels had been used. Receptionist was not interested. Very poor. Will not use again. Prices were extortionate.

Visiting family basically only used facilities for sleeping.

The booking was cancelled due to the horrendous condition of the place.

Cons:

Upon arrival, our engineer was redirected to a separate property down the road, Waterside House, rather than the accommodation we originally reserved at Manor House. This alternative property was in an unacceptable state, exhibiting severe wear and tear, lack of cleanliness including the bed and mattress and dampness throughout.
When he returned to reception at The Manor House to raise these concerns, he was offered an alternative family room. However, this room also appeared unhygienic and improperly cleaned. Due to these unacceptable living conditions and potential health and safety risks, our staff member was unable to remain at the property and had to find alternative arrangements.

Awful dirty hotel. Don’t stay there.
Pros:

Not much and definitely would not recommend. Dinner was good and it’s not far from station.

Cons:

Stayed in room 9 at the top of the stairs no offer of help with luggage. Room was dirty, hair in bed not sure the beds had been changed duvet had a hole in. V dirty bathroom shower not cleaned, tooth paste splatters or worse over the mirror sink and tap dirty. Dust on toiletries. Some towels frayed. 1 plastic hangar and some hooks. No soundproofing could hear the person next doors telephone conversation and the belching and farting hugely unpleasant experience.
