Good town centre and standard throughout.
It was close to where we had an event
The staff were very polite. The reception area, bar and bedroom itself were clean and modern
The bathroom in the room could do with a refresh. The towel rail/curtain was rusty and the grout around the bath was black, Shower curtains are a bit out of date at this stage. Breakfast was very disorganised as if they were expecting people to come down for 0.7.00
Staff and food were exceptional 😁. Max was just brilliant!

Able to check in a little earlier, guy on reception was friendly and polite. Bed was very comfortable. Quiet location and close to event we were attending on the day, adequate as a place to stay for a night.
Price was high for this hotel, mould in bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price but wasn't available before 9am, we had to leave at 8am so disappointed that we weren't able to grab something before we left.

It was quite dirty the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly and there was a dirty mark on the sheets in the middle which was very disappointing

The location was good handy for the town, the staff were excellent could not have done more for us. The cleaner was so lovely and helpful. The bedroom was excellent for the family, the beds up the stairs were fantastic for the children, even though they are big kids now the still loved it. The room for the party was very good we felt we could have fun and not disturb anybody. 100%
We thought it may be ready for a repaint, in the bedroom. The duvet was a bit old ready for a new one. The sofa on the stairs could do with repairing, I bet you could put a nice patch over the hole pretty cheaply, as it is comfortable. The bar is a little bit expensive.
We liked the location of the hotel, it was conveniently placed and as our party were hosting a wedding reception, it was convenient for attending. The check in process was smooth, allowing us to get into our rooms upon arrival. The room bookings I made were meant to be in the names of those staying, however one of the updates made had not pulled through. The clerk kindly helped us resolve this easily. We stayed for one night, and had three rooms. One large double, one double and one single. The large double was a little old fashioned but had everything we needed. The double room was very similar, and the single room. Breakfast being included was great for us, and the hot breakfast was okay! The parking was fine, though there were no disabled bays which was disappointing given I needed a disabled space. The parking was also very crowded, we were concerned about the space as it was shared with the hardware store next door.
The shower/bath combo in the large double was prone to flooding the bathroom due to the lack of a secure shower curtain. We found the double bed to be very high up, but for the most part, comfortable. The rooms temperature was the main issue as it was quite stuffy and hot, and we had no access to any cooling or a fan. The single bed was much too high up in the single room, and the most uncomfortable of the three with our guest only getting a couple of hours sleep unfortunately. The selection on the ‘continental’ breakfast was limited, and things ran out rather quickly. Having only 1.5 hours for breakfast was also very limiting for all of us.

Just needs a good clean in the hard to reach areas (cob webs on the ceiling and and TLC with replacement of old worn fixtures and fittings and painting. Maybe a refurb
