Wonderful Scottish hospitality.
Pros:

The location of Mabie House Hotel is absolutely beautiful, set in stunning grounds surrounded by woodland. All our meals, breakfast and dinner, were delicious with plenty to choose from. Our accommodation was extremely comfortable and spacious, overlooking the lovely gardens.

Cons:

Everything was perfect - very friendly and kind staff who helped to make our visit so enjoyable. It is such a relaxing place to stay - absolutely nothing to criticise about this delightful hotel.

Pros:

Location is superb. Interior is full of Edwardian grandeur. Loved the parrot. And most importantly, when I was unavoidably held up and didn't arrive until after the chef had gone home, the staff still managed to produce a dinner for me
And ps the food was excellent throughout my two days stay

Great stay only let down by room requiring an update.
Pros:

Lovely hotel full of character and in a good location. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was lovely and good size portions. The breakfast was very good. Bathroom was modern.

Cons:

The room was a bit tired looking and we had a bar stool as a bedside table. There was only one bedside lamp. The pillows could do with updating.

First class stay
Pros:

Excellent value for money, the evening meal was amazing , we loved it. The location is so beautiful, enjoyed a forest walk. Staff very friendly and helpful.
