Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. All bookings are subject to an additional MYR 2 Heritage Charge per room per day. This is to be paid directly at the hotel.

Generally we love returning to our room for a good night's rest. Very inviting.
Pros:

Location was very central right in the heart of the Heritage Village. Very well done in retaining the old heritage loo and feel in its overall design with modern amenities for comfort and ease

Cons:

would be good to have side tables by the beds where the sockets are and a towel bar to place our clothes for changing

飯店位置非常好,走路就到熱鬧街區,去哪裡都方便!!服務人員親切,房間舒適,公共空間可以拍很多漂亮的相片~

Cons:

房間隔音不好~可以聽到隔壁房間的聲音,還好每天都玩得很累,沒有因此影響睡眠!!

A gem in the heart of Melaka
Pros:

Location - 10/10 in the heart of Melaka, parallel to the famous Jonker Street just far enough away from the bustle and chaos of the night market (less than 4mins). Easy to catch a Grab taxi from here to the rest of Melaka
Room - Super clean and spacious twin room with a great shower and comfy beds
Staff - Amazing, friendly and accommodating especially the front desk team. I had my hands full the one day and the lady at reception helped me get to my room (which was on the third floor)
Baba House exceeded my expectations and I would stay here again :)

Cons:

Small note that the breakfast variety was a bit limited in terms of non-traditional local options but this is expected given the location.

Memorable stay
Pros:

We love the breakfast, choice of Melaka 🙌❤️.. perfect location to stay in with, strategically located at the heart of attraction..
Friendly staff and always making sure everything is fine.. interesting decorations in the living area, suitable for photos session plus getting to know real artefacts of kampung like baba vibes..
Not forgetting the rooftop area! Chilling place to be especially at night.
Overall my family members enjoyed the stay, and wish to comeback someday.

Cons:

The smell at the centre walking area, understand there's a drainage flow so maybe the smell coming from outside happened to occur at that side.
Maybe it can be improved 😀.

Clean and pleasant, compared to the rest of Melaka.
Pros:

The breakfast was great. The hotel was clean and well presented. Staff were well presented, but very shy.

Cons:

Lunch and dinner were not even promoted, and nobody ate there. Alcohol was not permitted in the restaurant, and there was very little to choose from.

Location excellent close to all attractions shops n eateries but quiet off main street. Beautifully decorated
