It’s was not a comfortable stay especially considering the price paid for the room
Pros:

Good location and friendly staff.

Cons:

It smelt strongly of wet/damp, it was very uncomfortable. The bathroom had mould. I was in the basement so explains the damp slightly but this was not stated on bedroom info when booking. The bedding and towels had stains, clearly old and need replacing.

Do not book based on their photos.
Pros:

Leaving

Cons:

It’s just not right that the lead photo for this hotel is a nice spacious modern double bedroom. That’s totally misleading to the point of willfully misdirecting and fleecing people. The staff were really nice though - that’s an important point to make.

But the place is just not fit for purpose and should not be charging what it has charged. Tiny windowless box room in the basement with loud air con, thin walls and a cheap bag of springs mattress. It’s a hostel, really. Not a hotel. I don’t expect to hear another man urinating inches from my head when I stay in a hotel. Some people charge extra for that, but not me.

Pros:

Horrible
Cons:

We stayed for two nights and there was no hot water and the drain in the sink was broken and blocked so the water was staying there. We couldn’t have a shower when we were supposed to get ready for my sons graduation so we had to book another hotel to get ready and no one was there to help the cleaner was rude and dismissive.

Pros:

I always use this hotel as it is value for money. Its not a top fancy place but its good for the few days I've stayed there. Comfortable and clean with friendly staff who are very helpful and let you use the baggage room before and after you vacate the room you stayed in. There's a 24 hour maned reception which is good to know.

Cons:

Just one thing it doesn't have access to a lift which is inconvenient for anyone finding the rooms hard to access
