Lovely hotel
Pros:

This is a very good hotel with very good service. Two minor downsides for us: the rooms were warm after noon during our stay, and there is no lift. The stairs were difficult for senior guests (ages 65 and 67), particularly when carrying luggage downstairs. With better room cooling and luggage help, it would be perfect. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Breakfast was quite good, room was little, but very nice and really clean :D

Cons:

I asked them some question because of Ani and the bus terminal (actually there are different terminals). They showed very few interest to help me. For Ani, they wanted me to book an tourist guide they know and for the bus terminal, they just told me to take a taxi.

I shifted out of this hotel around midnight to the fact that my room was a oven ,had no fresch air ,speak oxygen, there was a windows that was open , it was a light shaft but had no opening to fresh air. The noise pollution was out of this world, doors banging, people on their phone talking as if they are next to you,there is no insulation between the rooms and hallways. I went down and complained, asked for another room, got offer one with a window but a wall behind the window, why have a window there in the first place.. They knew my room was hot, around 25 degree ,and offered me a bottle of cold water. There is no Ac, according to them that is an old building, is all timber inside including the stairs and they have a no smoking policy but nobody cares, the place is a hostel with private rooms nothing else. I made my decision to leave the place and find onother hotel in the middle of the night, it was not what I booked in the first place. I hope Booking.com comes clean and repayes me the money what they collected for their client,wait and see ,not a happy customer

The hotel is in a beautiful old building and located right near the castle. The area around the hotel has plenty of restaurants and interesting architecture.

Wonderful stay in Kars!The location of this hotel is fantastic and made getting around very easy. What made our stay truly special was the staff—they were incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive. Even though they didn't speak English, they used Google Translate to make sure we had everything we needed. We felt very welcome and would definitely stay here again!

Cons:

The only tiny minor issue was some noise from other tourists and wooden doors closing, but otherwise, it was a great stay. Highly recommended.

Pros:

Wunderschön ruhig gelegen am Fusse der Burg und trozdem mitten drin. Der Service ist hervorragend, um alles hat man sich sofort gekümmert. Die Zimmer sind modern, das Dekor ist sehr geschmackvoll. Das Frühstück frisch und so grosszügig und lecker.

Poor - tiny rooms, poor service
Pros:

Atmospheric building, good location

Cons:

Tiny rooms, with one tiny window. Very, very poor service, not a hotel level at all - room was never cleaned, breakfast is late and not really fresh (although you do get plenty of food), no coffee available (?!) even for breakfast, rude and uninterested staff. Far too expensive for what it offers.
