Very disappointed.
Pros:

Location was good. Room was clean.

Cons:

Toilet made for little people, no good for disabled people. Bedroom was too small for two people. No room to get out of bed. Had to shuffle down to the end to get out. No crockery or cutlery. Tv channels scrambled, unable to watch. What breakfast. No plates to eat on anyway.

Reasonably comfortable mattress.

Cons:

No milk available for morning coffee.
No antenna connected to TV in room, had to go into bar to watch free to air channels (that's the idea according to publican)
Cleaners removing your property in your absence.

Nice room, friendly staff
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and the room was really nice. The low reviews I read prior to arriving did worry me. But when I checked in and entered the room it was very nice and clean with a spacious bathroom. The room was a good 40 second walk to the pub for a nice cold drink. Had no safety issues with my stay here at the Broken Hill Hotel.

Cons:

It is a fair bit away from the town but it wasn't really an issue for me.

Sorry we stayed there.
Pros:

The bathroom was good.

Cons:

The tv pixillated constantly.
The bed was pushed into a corner and uncomfortable. There wasn’t any space in the room. There wasn’t any tea/coffee making facilities. The fridge door scraped on the carpet when you opened it. Can’t fill the kettle in the hand basin, had to fill it using the shower.
The surroundings were noisy. Unsecured care park. Wandering locals in hotel property.

Don’t feel this property is suitable to be on booking.com
Pros:

Was given extra towels to use as pillows

Cons:

Poor lock on door, no facilities to make drinks (no cups/plates/cutlery), no extra pillows or hand towel or soap. Toilet seat broken, reported but not repaired during stay. Was unaware that it was a ‘skimpy’ bar, as not from oz would’ve had to google the phrase anyway!
