Amazing Assheton
Pros:

A nice inn…..but breakfast items availability and breakfast staff attitude has let you down. A shame…its a nice inn in a
Pros:

Disappointing to arrive at breakfast with still almost an hour to go to find no yoghurt pots left and only a tiny amount of fruit salad. And the waitress was completely unapologetic about. In fact she appeared pretty disinterested a pity because the rooms were comfortable and dinner the previous evening was good.

A lovely stay and would definalty recommend and revisit myself
Pros:

We had both dinner and breakfast both were very good. A nice choice on the menu.
Excellent very friendly staff. A lovely young man working the bar on friday 26th June and very friendly manager.
Superb location so pretty.

Cons:

The rooms were very warm. I know the weather was unseasonable warm but even a fan in each room would be a nice addition as we know the UK summers are getting warmer.

Great overnight stop - we will come back agian
Pros:

Lovely location and welcoming staff and comfortable room with some extra touches such as bottled water .
Dinner was delicious at the hotel too and breakfast was a very good selection of good quality food

if you want to be taken out of the real world this is the place you need to stay
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing and the pub food in the evening was lovely. staff was very friendly and welcoming we will be coming back again.

Cons:

the hot water for the featured bath could be a little be warmer.

Gorgeous hotel with lush food in a stunning village, everything you’d want from a hotel stay. Exceptional, highly recomm
Pros:

Wow what a gorgeous hotel/pub in the most beautiful location. Full of history this place & beautifully done out. The cooked breakfast I have to say was the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The location, the village of Downham is just stunning, we went fur a lovely walk next day.

Cons:

Can’t think of anything tbh, I’d definitely return.

One night stopover lived up to expectations !
Pros:

Lovely location in a tranquil village ,,, lovely rooms , super food from a decent / varied menu ! worth the trip out ... fantastic in summer to sit outside and soak up the view :) if i had a compliant / observation ,, the english breakfast was HUGE ...!
