Idéal pour se reposer au bord du lac
Pros:

Hôtel avec des équipements neufs et où tout était très propre. C’est un endroit très calme proche de plusieurs sentiers permettant de se balader autour du beau lac Shuzenji.
Le dîner et le petit déjeuner sont préparés par l’hôte et permet de déguster du poisson tout juste péché ! Tout était frais et fait maison.
Un havre de paix un peu à l’écart de la foule dans un environnement magnifique

Nice relaxing stay in a beautiful location
Pros:

The owner met me and was really nice. Breakfast was great. The PJs were a plus. Room basic but extremely functional. Very quiet.

Hôtel excellent, nourriture très bonne et personnel au petit soin
Pros:

Très très bon hôtel, le monsieur qui s'occupe de l'hôtel est très gentil et serviable, c'est aussi lui qui s'occupe du petit déjeuné et du dîner le soir (je vous conseil de manger le soir dans l'hôtel, il n'y a pas beaucoup de choix mais les plats sont excellents)
L'emplacement est idéal pour des balades autour du lac, l'hôtel dispose aussi d'un parking (gratuit pour ceux qui logent dans l'hôtel)

Cons:

Les horaires pour le petit déjeuné et le dîner sont très courts (7h30-8h30, et 18h30-19h30) mais c'est normal car c'est le monsieur qui prépare tout et il est seul donc ça se comprend, en tout cas on y mange très bien.
Les chambres sont un peu froides à l'arrivée mais avec le chauffage la température monte vite.
Ce n'est pas un point négatif mais il faut faire attention de bien fermer la porte d'entrée le soir car les singes peuvent rentrer dans l'hôtel^^

Pros:

The location was good. Nice and quiet.

Cons:

We booked 2 rooms. We were lucky we had a twin that looked out onto a carpark. My fellow guests had a small room with a small double without any windows! I was very surprised as it was quite expensive!

very enjoyable stay.
Pros:

Iku went out of his way to make you feel at home. He provided simple but very good food locally sourced and took the trouble to explain what it was and where it originated from. Worth the bus ride of your life to get there and get back to the station.

We have a great time at the Nikko Beans hotel and wished we stayed longer.
Pros:

Great location, nice room, friendly owner. Great to have options for dinner at the hotel as the town itself is very small. Loved our stay.

Great lodge by the lake
Pros:

Great location just by the lake. The food was amazing, the staff was extremely friendly and there was a beautiful cherry tree blossoming right outside the hotel.

Gutes Hotel mit tollem Essen
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Betten sind gut. Wir wurden hervorragend bekocht mit authentischem Essen. Parkplätze sind direkt am Hotel und man bekommt Karten zum bezahlen. Die Gegend am See ist wunderschön.

Amazing stay at Nikko Beans
Pros:

The owner is so very kind and helpful. He put up with drying my fishing kit and helped facilitate my trips. He made me onigiri when I missed breakfast which was amazing. The hotel itself is situated on the banks of Lake Chuzenji. The hotel is spotlessly clean and confortable (the most comfortable beds I've encountered in Japan). I stayed last year and will stay agsin next year.

Clean stay, great food and amazing stay
Pros:

Situated right next to lake Chuzenji and a 2mins walk to Chuzenji Temple, there is a nice view of Mount Nantai near the temple. Meals provided by the hotel were amazing and full of variety, it is a hearty portion. The interior is clean and well furnished and the staff is hospitable.
