Awesome stay with excellant staff and hospitality.

Room was excellant. Everything was fine.
The staff is really awesome and hats off to their hospitality. I stayed with my mother. After we had checked out, my flight was in evening and hence we wanted to visit some places in Amritsar. The hotel staff agreed that we can keep our bags and collect them in evening before flying. However my mother developed some health issues. The hotel staff allowed us to stay in the lounge and later occupy again the same room we left for the day without any exrtra costs. They also guided about some good restaurants and travelling inside amritsar. I would surely again stay here. It is a little far off from the golden temple, however we arrived by train and train station is 10min away.

Cons:

The bathroom was little bit unprepared for guests. The hotel was recently renovated , hence it can be understood.

Location is very prime , accessible and staff at reception and the security at the entrance of the hotel were absolutely great:

Cons:

The rooms need a massive refurbishment. There are walls need painting, the floor is dirty and do not look under the bed.

Hot water is a joke and the air conditioner is definitely need fixing. The temperature has been set to 24 and locked. Not allowed to reduce this. Visiting in summer?: think twice.

The property looks great from the outside. It needs a massive facelift from the inside. Lobby needs music. It’s so dead with no music.

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing from start to finish.

The property itself feels very dated, and this is especially evident in the rooms. The bedding and linens were visibly old and had a yellowed appearance. The bedsheets had multiple stains on them, and what was particularly frustrating was the staff’s response. Instead of acknowledging the issue or apologizing, they explained that the stains were “permanent” due to the age of the sheets, which is simply not an acceptable standard for any hotel.

Cleanliness was another major concern. The bathroom did not appear to have been properly cleaned prior to check-in, and there were visible stains on the floor. The towels provided were also old and had stains, reinforcing the overall lack of hygiene and upkeep.

In terms of comfort, the air conditioning did not function properly, making the room uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the internet was essentially non-existent.

Additionally, no shower gel was provided in the bathroom, which is a very basic amenity that guests should not have to request separately.

Overall, the hotel falls far below expected standards in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and service. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

While there were some issues during my stay, I didn’t find anything noteworthy to appreciate during my stay.

Cons:

I recently stayed at Best Western Plus, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The AC in the room was not working at all, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable especially given the weather.
What made it worse was the behavior of the evening staff. It felt like they were constantly keeping an eye on us, which was quite unsettling and took away any sense of privacy or comfort.
Overall, the stay did not meet expectations at all. Basic amenities like air conditioning should be functional, and guests should feel at ease..not watched. Definitely not the experience I was hoping for.
