Cons:

Het feit dat de bar om 11 uur 's avonds dicht ging als je nog wat wilde drinken op het terras of bij het heerlijke zwemba vonden we heel teleurstellend. Helaas was ook roomservice niet aanwezig.

A lovely hotel, a brilliant quiet and central location. Great caring and helpful staff.
Pros:

Great location, lovely historical and classy ambience. Excellent staff, welcoming and unfailingly helpful. (Reception, breakfast and the bar in particular.). Excellent breakfast . Air conditioning in the room was good. The pool was really clean and smart.

Cons:

Snack menu in the bar at lunchtime was really poor. Awful dry and tasteless toast as, awful chicken cedar salad. (Tasteless, no croutons, no seasoning. Not Parmesan cheese.) Having to pay for coffee pods in the room at such an expensive hotel. I would have expected that to be free. The extractor fans in our bathroom did not work. There was a cockroach in the bathroom this morning. Disappointed that the courtyard was unavailable. It detracted from our stay.

Best hotel in Tavira.
Pros:

Very good hotel in Tavira, we loved our five days there. Our room was very comfortable and we were very pleased to have a balcony. Breakfast was very good with a huge choice of food. The staff were excellent, always polite, cheerful, and very helpful, particularly at Reception.

Nothing.

Super séjour de secours au Palacio de Estoi
Pros:

Nuit finalement faite au Pousada Palácio de Estoi car le Convention de Tavira était encore en rénovation.
Nous sommes ravis de notre passage au Palacio. Chambre de très grand volume avec un lit extraordinairement grand…
Salle de sport, sauna, piscine… parfait pour se détendre.
La partie ancienne de l’hôtel et les extérieurs sont superbes.
Le petit déjeuner est excellent.

Cons:

Le Palacio est un peu reculé de la ville donc voiture obligatoire pour rejoindre Faro contrairement au Convento qui se trouve en plein cœur de Tavira.

Lovely pousada . Staff great. Need more staff in restaurant for dinner.

First night waited quite a while in restaurant fir menu due to lack of staff.
Also had to send food back on another night.but have to say staffcwere so friendly and not their fault.

Lovely hotel, excellent staff but dogs should not be allowed
Pros:

Building was stunning, very well renovated but with history maintained

Cons:

Air-conditioning wasn’t as powerful as it could be. It was on full but room was still warm

Also, while we were by the pool, a family who had a dog with them, allowed their dog to poo by a tree near the pool with the owner not cleaning up. While the hotel can’t be held responsible for this guest, I would suggest banning dogs. Most hotels have this rule for this reason, so guests don’t have to sidestep dog-poo while by the pool

Would absolutely choose to stay here again!
Pros:

All staff were exceptionally attentive and helpful. Location is excellent. Facilities are lovely. Breakfast was abundant and delicious.

Pros:

Edifício bem restaurado e muito bonito, com boa localização. Pequeno-almoço excelente. O restaurante da pousada (Mouraria) é também excelente. Funcionários competentes e muito amáveis. Menção especial para o Sr. Alexandre.

Gostaria que os funcionários, seguindo por certo orientações superiores, não falassem em primeiro lugar em inglês: a pousada está em Portugal, país em que se fala português,
