La mia camera non affacciava su strada bensì su un muro. Era spaziosa ma estremamente mal tenuta. C’era muffa nelle fughe della doccia e nei siliconi. I rubinetti, sia della doccia che del lavandino, talmente incrostati di calcare che temo che non siano mai stati utilizzati prodotti igienizzanti per pulire il bagno, ma solo acqua. Le cerniere del wc incrostate di sporco. Muffa sul soffitto della doccia. Polvere negli angoli del soffitto. Personale inizialmente gentile, ha provato a farmi vedere altre due stanze, eventualmente facendo free upgrade ma le condizioni igieniche erano forse persino peggio in quelle (sì erano stanze appena liberate da altri ospiti ma mi riferisco alla manutenzione totalmente inesistente). Quando ho rifiutato il cambio camera mi é stato proposto di cancellare senza penali, senza però proporre alcun alloggio alternativo. Significava che dopo 2 voli intercontinentali (2 notti e 1 giorno intero fuori) avrei dovuto rimettermi lo zaino in spalla alla ricerca di una nuova soluzione alternativa, nel pieno caos di Hanoi. Ho rifiutato e ho deciso di rimanere nella stanza ma badate bene che le foto sono probabilmente relative a quando la struttura ha aperto e quindi era tutto nuovo. Le foto non corrispondono alla realtà. Ah e se volete pagare con carta di credito vi addebitano il 10% in più rispetto al prezzo Booking.com. Avevo chiesto, di venirmi incontro, di offrirmi l’early check-in, non c’é stato verso. Non é una questione di soldi ma una questione di riconoscere di aver sbagliato e di cercare un vero rimedio invece che dirmi che se voglio, posso andarmene senza che nulla mi venga addebitato. Quando ho specificato che avrei pagato con la carta, hanno cercato in tutti i modi possibili di farmi pagare in contanti. Purtroppo non ho altro spazio per aggiungere l’ultimo episodio accaduto ma ne discuterò con l’assistenza di Booking direttamente.

Väldigt slitet rum. Badrummet avlopp luktade fruktansvärt. Behövde täcka över avloppet med sopkorgen för att stoppa doften. Sängen var ganska hård.
