The room

The furniture was very much outdated. Looks like the old furniture from 43 years ago from our honeymoon. Bedding not clean, television outdated. Everything is in need of replacing-updating!!

Nasty stains all over the sheets..did not stay..went and got another room

There are only pins in the balcony doors to keep them closed, no lock. And the place is fairly old and it shows. We paid for a room from
The hotel not an air bnb and never had anyone come to clean the room or to offer clean towels. In order to get new towels we had to take ours down to the lobby and exchange for clean ones.

Nothing went well. It was such an awful route just getting to the room. The door was jammed hardly could get it open. Room smelled like somebody just finished gargling. Sliding glass door wouldn't open to even get fresh air in. It was so disgusting we walked out and checked into another hotel. I knew I wasn't going to get a refund. It was far too difficult to imagine staying there. The front desk gave us a flyer to call for shuttle service and it was also as poor as hotel. As a matter of fact the Shores escorted us to track in there van to the gate and picked us up as well. Gave us contact numbers in case we wanted to leave early. Your guy sent me to a number that wasn't in service anymore. Some guy just came by your hotel with a flyer but wasn't a bonafide transportation company. Why would you expose a guest to that? Your better off just saying you don't shuttle to the race. I'm from Hawaii so I was excited to book your hotel. I've made sure all my family and friends post on facebook and any other social media how bad it was.

When reserving request 3rd fl or above but when checking in room 120 very bad ac, smelly, shifty view..we were going to cancel. Front desk was able. To find a suitable room.

The young girl at check in was extremely rude, the unit we stayed in was dirty, comforter had bleach stains on it there was pubic hair on floor near fridge, a glob of hair on hand towel in bathroom and floor was dirty

The rooms are nice & spacious, & some have upgrades, but some need some additional upgrades, especially the bathrooms, but we still love this hotel!

They knowingly gave a room with ZERO a/c. They KNEW it had zero a/c based on the 2 fans in the room waiting for us. One a box fan, one a Honeywell tower fan.
The room smelled musty, dank and moldy (although no mold/mildew was visible) they also new of this issue based on the damp rid tucked on top of a cupboard in the kitchenette are.
After finally falling asleep in a puddle of sweat sometime after 2 a.m. the mini fridge started beeping at 5 a.m. because it too apparently wasn't working! So, yeah, it was a VERY short night. Definitely not $194 worth of sleep!
No, we did not attempt to be moved or find another location to stay, it was a HUGE NASCAR weekend and there weren't rooms to be found.
The thing that got us is there were rooms with a/c... Their windows were covered with condensation.

Room & Hotel Experience

Upon checking in, I was told not to lose the room key because I would have to pay for a locksmith if the key was lost or if we accidentally locked ourselves out of the room. The key provided was an Ace Hardware key attached to a car tag, which was concerning because there was no backup key available at the front desk.

After checking in, no one informed us that only one of the two elevators in the lobby went to the 5th floor. We initially took an elevator that only went to the 4th floor and then had to walk over to the other elevator to reach our floor. The elevator was extremely small, with maybe enough room for five people. The handrail inside the elevator was also loose and did not appear to be properly secured.

When we finally reached the 5th floor, the hallway was poorly lit. Getting into the room was another challenge because the door was extremely difficult to open. You had to use both handles to get the door open, and I had a difficult time opening it from both the inside and outside. I was glad I had someone with me who could assist because I struggled to open the door myself.

Once we entered the room, we discovered an unexpected guest—a large palmetto bug! It was sitting on the wall looking at us as if we had interrupted its stay. My boyfriend tried to get rid of it, and it ended up flying across the room, which definitely wasn't the welcome we were expecting.

Unfortunately, the room had several other issues. The sheets appeared dingy and looked as though they had not been changed or properly refreshed before our arrival. There was no telephone in the room. The shower was also a problem. When I turned it on, the bathtub began filling with water, and the water would not properly drain or shut off while the shower was running.

The floors also needed more attention. I did not feel comfortable walking around the room barefoot and ended up wearing slippers the entire time.

The bed was another major concern.

I liked everything
