The best possible place to stay overnight on our way to the Eurotunnel.
Pros:

A superb place to stop over on the way to the Eurotunnel. The rooms were beautifully clean and modern and well equipped. The hotel itself was a lovely authentic French building with its own lingerie and attached farm. They even go their own truffles. You could watch the bread and pastries being baked.
The staff were all really kind and friendly
It even has a free outdoor swimming pool. 
Dinner was delicious.

Cons:

Pretty much nothing- it was amazing!
(Over dinner, we were offered a champagne ice cream float in between courses but it wasn’t made clear that this had a cost. otherwise, the place was perfect)

A comfortable stay; disappointing dinner
Pros:

Our second visit to this country auberge. We were given a warm welcome with the offer to use the pool as it was incredibly hot. Comfortable room with a great boulangerie next door.

Cons:

We were very disappointed with the quality of dinner which had been excellent on our previous visit. Indeed, our return was planned on the basis of the quality of dining.

Aangenaam verblijf, goed gelegen om de champagne te verkennen
Pros:

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ontbijt was uitgebreid, voor elk wat wils.
Diner is de betere keuken, heel lekker, betaalbare menu optie, je tijd nemen en genieten.
Minder om met kleine kinderen te doen.
Ruime, propere kamers, zeer goede bedden en airco.
De temperatuur is centraal geregeld, niet te koud, zeer aangenaam met deze hitte week.
Zwembad was proper en top om in te verfrissen.
In de namiddag is er water en soms koffie beschikbaar.
De bakkerij naast de deur is een plus voor een fris drankje, koffie of snack overdag.
Ideale ligging om de champagne streek te verkennen.

Cons:

Kamers waren ruim maar je hoort de buren.
Geen ijskast aanwezig.
Aan het zwembad hoor je de Tesla's die komen laden, heeft ons niet gestoord maar je hoort de laders wel opspringen.

Great overnight stop within easy reach of Calais
Pros:

We were moved to a more suitable room on the ground floor with extremely good grace. Very friendly staff and excellent food. Have stayed here several times before but I felt that everything was a little bit better than before.

Cons:

I shall never love the American Bar style doors to the bathroom but, at least, these didn't squeak! A very minor gripe.
