The hotel has such a charming feel. I loved that staff went out of their way to put the extra bed in the room as I had requested. They provided a lovely welcome gift. The room was very original and rustic feeling - like we were there in a different time. The terrace had an exceptional view of the castle. We were so pleased with our stay! Thank you 🙂
The lighting in the room was a bit too led/white. A softer warmer glow would have really enhanced the room. But this was not a big deal at all.

Was informed restaurant was closing at 6pm even though signs stated 10pm . Had to go else where for dinner .

Reserved a castle view room and got a room with wonderful view of the castle tower, even from the bed! Thoughtful welcome plate with fruits and treats, and still water. Adequate breakfast served in basement. Friendly and helpful staff. It was cold at night but the system-wide radiator hasn't been turned on yet for the winter season so they placed a mobile space heater in my room at my request. The taxi they arranged for the ride to the bus station showed up right on time. Nice oasis in the mass of day-trippers.
(Heads up that the hilly cobblestone streets in CK are awful to luggage wheels, even the wheels on carry-ons. Hotel can arrange taxi that can pickup/dropoff at the door for only 9 euros, an easy and hassle free option.)
It's a bit pricey but view and location is worth it.
The location is perfect, the staff are extremely friendly, professional and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and fresh.

Wasn't a problem for us in September, but with only one standing fan, it might be a bit warm in the summer months.
