Pros:

An absolute gem of a hotel, right next to the beach but at the same time in the middle of the jungle. The sloths are going about their way above your head when you step out in the morning - it's fantastic. And the host was phenomenal, super kind who made us feel right at home. The location is perfect, a 10-minute walk from town center. If you're visiting Puerto Viejo, this is the place to be.

Pros:

Die Lage direkt am Strand ist traumhaft, wir sahen morgens Affen in den Bäumen. Abseits vom Trubel des Zentrums, aber alles ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.
Es gibt kostenlos Kaffee und Wasser.

Cons:

Die Zimmer waren zwar ganz nett, aber sehr abgelebt. Die Tür zum Bad ließ sich nicht ganz schließen, aber es gibt zur Not auch noch andere Toiletten bei der Rezeption. Etwas muffeliger Geruch und nicht ganz perfekt sauber.

Everything this is a neat little gem a neat little boutique hotel right at the edge of town walking distance to everything very quiet and relaxing wonderful Beach with natural pool for kids staff was amazing. I highly highly recommend this place. It is a little dated but that makes it more Charming.

The fact I had to leave and go back home.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Casa Vito. Wonderful hosts, nature and beach on the doorstep and great coffee!
Pros:

Hotel Casa Vito is in beautiful surroundings. Our room and the communal space looked straight out to the beach, through the jungle. It was so peaceful and close to nature. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Nothing to say here.

Realidade! Uma Pura Vida em Puerto Viejo
Pros:

A localização é perfeita, cerca de poucos passos do mar (piscinas naturais) e a curta caminhada do centro. Fica dentro da vegetação com possibilidades de avistar bichos-preguiças e macacos e ouvir o som de vários pássaros. O quarto é enorme e confortável, com água quente. O hotel oferece um café preto e água potável gratuitamente. Os anfitriões são maravilhosos. Recomendo.

Hemos pasado 3 días maravilloso en Casa Vito, el recinto y las instalaciones son excepcionales, la ubicación es perfecta para recorrer la zona y nuestro anfitrión el Sr. Ariel muy atento y sumamente agradable y servicial.

Lindo lugar
Pros:

El tamaño de la habitación. El acceso a la playa. Queda a más de 1 km del pueblo pero hay un sendero por la playa para ir caminando.

Cons:

El microondas no funcionaba, quedaron en reemplazarlo el primer día pero nunca lo hicieron. La tv no funcionó las dos últimas noches. Wifi lento.

It was really amazing, Elaine and Vito are great. The room were just like the pictures. They were very clean, the shower big and clean. AC worked really good. The bed was comfortable and big. When you step out the door and you see the view from the beach is like living in paradies. The beach is close about 50m.
There is a door to the beach what they closed over night. Very calm and quiet. Good to relaxe.
