The place to be for backpackers
Pros:

If you are a bagpacker in Kintamani to hike the Mount Batur, the Tegal Sari Cabin is the place you want to pick. You reach it from the main road through a steep stairway thanks to clear indications, the room being basic but clean, with a convenient kettle but most importantly an amazing view. Obviously you are in the nature, so there are mosquitoes and ants, but that’s to be expected. The host lives nearby and she really goes the extra mile: she had me checked in at 11.00, she offered to prepare breakfast at 11.30 the following day when I was back from the hike, she arranged a motorbike to take me to the bus stop (Grab doesn’t work there). Stay away from the overpriced and fancy hotels in the area and go for this simple solution.

Cons:

Not ok for those traveling with trolleys or for families, the stairway from the main road being steep.

Fijne stop met een fantastisch uitzicht!
Pros:

We hebben hier één nacht geslapen en dat was een prima verblijf. De kamer was schoon en rook fris, alles was netjes verzorgd en we werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de dames ter plaatse. De volgende ochtend kregen we een fijn ontbijtje op de kamer.

Houd er wel rekening mee dat er veel trappen zijn, dus de accommodatie is minder geschikt als je slecht ter been bent. Maar voor ons was het uitzicht echt het hoogtepunt: prachtig zicht op zowel Gunung Batur als de omgeving van Kintamani.

Kortom: een korte maar fijne stop met een fantastisch uitzicht!

A “pinch me I’m dreaming” stay
Pros:

Having the view of the three peaks from our balcony was such a luxury. We couldn’t believe our eyes. Having our breakfast there with that view was unbelievable. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and ideal after a My Batur hike. The beds were super comfy and it is only a short walk to the main town.

Cons:

Kintamani is a cooler area so you will feel cold at night. Not cold by European standards but you notice it after spending a couple days south at all the beaches.

The view was incredible, the staff were really friendly and the lady even carried my suitcase on her head all the way down the steps which made it a lot easier for us! There isn’t much around or many places to eat but was a good short stay so we could do the sunrise Jeep tour up mount batur.

导航终点是庙的后门，不见地点。要从一条温滑陡峭的小路走下去，床头有屎臭味，枕头布满霉点，被子有异味，床单上有各色污点和毛发。
