Pros:

Location. Comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful

Cons:

The rooms are a bit tired looking. We were on the 5th floor. The lower walls when you come out of the lift were scratched and need painting.

Pros:

Location.

Cons:

Crazy malfunctioning lifts. A bar that advertises late closure Friday and Saturday but closes at 10pm.

Great location and staff, but a could use some maintenance.
Pros:

Location was great, and parking was convient

Cons:

Windows were dirty, and lifts where old, and noisy. In one instance, the lift stopped 4 inches above the floor and we nearly fell getting while stepping out the lift.

Pros:

The Mecure is located in the heart of the city. We had everything on our doorstep. The reception staff were lovely and the facilities were well maintained. We used the pool daily and the gym.

Decent value for money, but the place needs some love.
Pros:

Great location. Decent value for money.

Cons:

Rundown, old, and dilapidated appearance. The carpet is old and dirty. Elevators sounded as if they needed maintenance. The whole place, specifically the Mercure side, is in dire need of a refresh. Room service trays left in the hallway for entire days adds to the feeling of a grimy and uncared for hotel. It’s a a shame.

Cheap and cheerful but not somewhere i'd stay again.
Pros:

Location is excellent, just across the road from a major bus stop and 7min walk to Roma street station for airport/bus interchange. It's a block from major shopping area and short walk to restaurants, <20min to cultural centre and further restaurants/sites.
Staff were really lovely and helpful.

Cons:

It's really run down. The carpets are in dire need of update, the pillows are lumpy and the in room facilities are bare. There is zero soundproofing. I found that I could hear every conversation of my neibouring room and those in the hall.
