Location is No. 1
Staff very polite and helpful
The room I stayed in had a very bad smell coming from the bathroom.
The shower, with the half glass door, results in a flooded bathroom floor. Not pleasant.
I am a seasoned traveler and have stayed at a large amount of properties across the globe. This property is severely lacking in value for money, basic hygiene standards, and customer service. It was an absolutely terrible experience from start to finish, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save your money and stay somewhere else!
There is absolutely nothing redeeming about this property; it is a truly terrible hotel. As a seasoned traveler who has stayed at a significant number of properties worldwide, I can confidently state that this ranks among the absolute worst. I have seen 1 and 2 star properties that offer a vastly superior experience! It provides exceptionally poor value for money, and I strongly advise booking elsewhere.
My stay at this so-called four star hotel was nothing short of a nightmare. For the steep price they charge, I expected quality and professionalism. Instead, I got treated with utter disrespect and placed in substandard conditions.
1. The Check-In Fiasco: Despite having a confirmed booking, the front desk staff initially claimed they had no rooms available — even though it was blatantly obvious they did.
2. Disgusting Rooms: When they finally assigned me a room, it was horrible. It had a heavy, foul odor seemingly from the bathroom that forced a room change. They then showed me more rooms all of which were vacant & available - proving they had room availability and yet tried to initially convince me that they were fully booked. Strange!
3. Lack of Basic Amenities: The final room they moved me to was okay but still completely underwhelming and nowhere near worth the exorbitant price tag. To top it all off, for a ‘luxury’ property charging these rates, not providing additional free bottled water upon request is petty and unacceptable.
Overall this property represents poor value for money and there are far better options in Lusaka, avoid at all costs!!
The Location was the major plus point of this propoerty. As it has no competition and is located close to the airport there is a lot of monopoly.
I walked in as my flight was cancelled. the receptionist told me the hotel was 100 percent occupied and the only availble room was a suite which would cost me 400 USD. Being a hotleiere i quickly checked online and there was plenty or rooms available. Upon asking the receptionist Joseph, why he system was showing fully occupied. he said the inventory was closed from central reservation. this was just a try to upsell a suite so he could make some comission. I found this very unprofessional and unethical. The check in expereince was horrible and I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone if it wasnt for the convenience of being opposite the airport.
very basic
only advantage is proximity to airport and clean rooms
will go here if i have a late night arrival flight else city hotels are 300% better at this price with airport pickup and drop provided
food options - more than about half of the items on the menu are not available
This is excellent location. Just under 10 min talk away from Lusaka Airport. Easy walk - and you can take airport cart here. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant was great. Dinner Buffet started at 1830, but really kind of start around 1900. Breakfast choices were great.
I did not know there was a shuttle bus from airport. Wish I knew that... Price was a bit high, but for convince, it was okay. Instead of staying downtown Lusaka, it save my time to catch sleep.
Camas, dor.mitorio amplio y desayuno
Cenamos en el hotel y tardarom casi 1 hora en traer la cena
The room was good and clean. All basic amenities were there, including a coffee bar. Staff was polite.
One of the bathroom pot lights was burnt out, so much that the bathroom was dark. No matter what one does, one ends up with a wet bathroom floor with the half glass shower door. The chain-lock on the door was broken and I wondered if security would be an issue, sleeping with a broken lock, given that this was the first time staying at the hotel. All was well on security.
I called for Room Service. I was told someone would bring the Menu. I waited for at least an hour, and called them to not bring the menu. I figured if the menu took that long to deliver, the food would take much longer and I wanted to have an early night to catch my flight early the next morning. Nonetheless, somebody knocked on my door about 3 minutes after I called, apologized for the slow delivery of the menu and tried to convince me to order. I explained to the gentleman why I would not make the order. Staff was polite but efficient service is critical.
Comfortable, spacious room.
Restaurant service extremely slow. No notification at checking in that the spa was closed, swimming pool was having chemicals put in at the time we arrived so no swimming.
