Posizione perfetta. Comodissimo il garage.
La via non è stupenda.
It was clean
The biggest disappointment was Dark Angels, a brothel literally four steps from the hotel entrance.** Having a brothel directly in front of the hotel creates an extremely uncomfortable and unpleasant atmosphere, particularly in the evening. The noise, activity outside, and very thin walls made it difficult to feel comfortable or relax. This is absolutely something guests should know before booking.
The service itself was fairly standard. It also seemed that the hotel was seriously understaffed. The few employees available were constantly running back and forth, which was clearly not their fault, but it affected the overall experience. There was also a lack of cutlery at breakfast, and unfortunately, the breakfast was not tasty at all.
Overall, the hotel was a disappointing experience, mainly because of its immediate surroundings. The presence of Dark Angels literally at the hotel entrance, combined with the noise and thin walls, made the stay uncomfortable.
We only stayed at this hotel for one night while in transit to Italy, so I’m not in a position to give a detailed review. However, the executive double room was comfortable for a short stay. We absolutely loved the breakfast - it had plenty of variety and high-quality products. Don’t miss the ajvar, a famous Serbian savory relish made primarily from roasted sweet red bell peppers, which is similar to Romanian zacusca but sweeter and tastier. Location-wise, the hotel is quite central, just a few minutes' walk from Hotel Moskva and about 10 to 15 minutes from Knez Mihailova pedestrian street. Belgrade is a beautiful city and well worth a visit.
However, there were a few drawbacks. The hotel’s parking lot is tiny and tight, requiring some tricky maneuvering (if you're lucky enough to find a free space). The neighboring buildings look very old - perhaps authentic, but definitely nondescript and unappealing. On top of that, the hotel entrance is right across from a gentlemen's / strip club, which might explain the incidents experienced by other guests. In hindsight, I think the Zepter Hotel has a better location and would have been a better choice.
Son emplacement et l’accueil du personnel Le grand choix proposé au petit déjeuner
Le manque d’ouverture sur l’extérieur dans notre chambre et la salle du petit déjeuner
Good breakfast, amazing cleaning, good rooms. Came back second time here and enjoyed staying here as much as the first time!
