Location
The hotel food was very poor. And the staff that cleaned our room left a horrendous smell of body odour. There was also a smell of body odour from a member of breakfast staff
Everything was fabulous from start to finish of our stay
Location and class. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was beautiful.
Expensive all round
Friendly staff
Dated furniture. Pool not clean and floor slippery. Overpriced food and drinks. Poor service at breakfast
The staff were lovely very friendly and helpfull
A little disappointed that the menu didn't change
Hotel was lovely, rooms where very spacious. Lovely walk around the golf course.
Bar food menu had very limited choices. Room service for breakfast. Food was cold and hard for a five star hotel
Staff was friendly..food was lovely..walk ways beautiful
Playground needs updating and games room for children
I have been and stayed here before.
The breakfast was very nice.
I booked a superior room with a balcony view of the golf course.
Our room 104 didn’t fit the description.
The name on the tv was same surname incorrect first names.
There were no hangers in the wardrobe.
The garden room menu was mediocre.
I asked for a glass of moretti beer I was given some gimmicky equivalent called poretti in a Guinness glass which I returned.
The passion martini differed in taste according to the cocktail maker who made them.
I was disappointed as it was my husband’s birthday and the night away was a treat as I had been raving about returning to the 5 star hotel I had experienced previously.. and we were now both disappointed.
Room.upgrade was unexpected and most welcome.. room was excellent.. staff very friendly and swimming pool was excellent
The staff were definitely not customer centred. The service was poor, with a few exceptions.
Overall a lovely calm environment. Staff at reception, in fact all the staff, were very welcoming. We had a large comfortable room with air con. Spotless bathroom. Great choice of hot or cold breakfast. Had a superb meal in Hugo's and a lovely walk around the grounds. Will definitely visit again.
There's nothing to dislike here!
Good value for money - food was good, staff were good
Not quite sure if it’s still a 5 star property, it’s probably due for an update soon
