Turned up to the property and it was a scam, there was no rooms or staff even there. Still took my money, complete fraud! Whatever you do dont book this place.

Do not use "booking .com" to book this Hotel, I am still waiting on a refund.
Pros:

Despite the fact that "booking.com" failed to make my booking, due to the fact that The Wheatley Hotel does not work with "booking .com", the staff honoured the booking, as they also did for 2 other people that arrived after me.

Cons:

Due to a recent change in management, and reorganisation, there was no breakfast or evening meal, the staff did give me a list of local places to eat.

Booking.com do not work with this hotel, you turn up as several do and they have not details from booking.com, They have advised booking.com, multiple times but booking.com still take your money and do not provide a good enough service with AI telephone and a sub optimal website to report this. DO NOT BOOK HERE WITH BOOKING .COM. This is not a reflection of the hotel but purely booking.com
