Cons:

Foto’s komen totaal niet overeen met werkelijkheid!
Uitzicht niks bijzonder en zwembad heel klein.
Douche alles behalve schoon
Je hebt vele mooiere en betere accomodaties in Ella voor veel minder geld.

Pros:

L'hôtel est bien situé, en dehors de la zone touristique de Ella. La vue sur les plantations de thé est incroyable. Le personnel est charmant. Nous avons testé le massage ayurvédique : excellent !

Cons:

L'hôtel est situé au bord de la route. Nous avons entendu la circulation dès 6h du matin...les chambres ne sont pas bien isolées.

I like that it was clean, the rooms were comfortable.

Cons:

The pictures were not too clear, the surroundings were not posted, it's just a standalone shoplot building. Breakfast needs major improvement - no varieties. Other hotels are providing huge varieties for the same price. Snacks in the room are not complementary.

The property is located far from Ella city center, with no nearby access to delivery services or markets, which makes basic convenience quite limited.

In addition, the kitchen is positioned very close to the guest rooms, resulting in cooking smells spreading into the accommodation area. There were also issues with insects in the room, including cockroaches. Privacy was another concern, as noise from outside conversations and laughter could be clearly heard inside the rooms.

The Wi-Fi connection was extremely poor and unreliable, making it impossible to stream or comfortably watch movies during the stay.

Service delays were also experienced, with food taking approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive. Due to the long wait, one dish had to be cancelled. The staff did try to apologize and were responsive, even coming to the room to address the insect issue.

While the manager and receptionist were kind and professional, the compensation offered by the owner was limited to a $10 discount for the poor internet experience, which felt insufficient given the overall issues encountered.

Highly recommended for all of the visitors in the world.

Very good Clean and really best staff (specially I have to appreciate and thank MR. Sharvin he is a very professional and perfect management member of the staff). Thansk a lot for everything.

The perfect getaway at Bandarawela
Pros:

Had an absolutely amazing experience at the place. Visited with a bunch of friends for a few nights.
The rooms were so well kept and really comfortable. AC and hot water were perfect.
The pool was maintained well and food was superb.
The best of all to be honest though was the staff. All members were really friendly and always looked to help out whenever they can.
All in all, made our visit to Bandarawela absolutely amazing. Keep it up team.

Pros:

I recently stayed at Luxor Hotel and had a really pleasant experience overall. The service was especially noteworthy—Shirvin, Adithya, and Isuru were incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. They made sure everything was smooth and comfortable, always going the extra mile with a smile.The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and offered a good overall atmosphere. While there may be small areas for improvement, the excellent service truly stood out and made my visit enjoyable.

Overall, a good experience and I would definitely consider staying here again!
