Pros:

Wat een mooi uitzicht. En de verzorging was super. Prachtige villa rustig gelegen tegen een heuvel met prive zwembad . De bediening in het restaurant super gasten. Een aanrader voor wie verwend wil worden op Lombok.

Прекрасный отдых, очень просторный номер, прекрасный вид. На ужин нужно ехать в куту, но мы решили заказать ужин в отеле, очень понравились осьминоги, креветки. Повара очень вкусно готовят)

Shocking experience

Do not book this hotel! Please take the time to read my review carefully.

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. From the moment I arrived, there was an uncomfortable atmosphere where employees appeared fearful and nervous around the (British) owner. The way the owner treated his staff came across as disrespectful and degrading, and it seemed as though he exploited them. As a guest, this did not make me feel comfortable or safe.

What bothered me most was the way the staff were treated. The owner also appeared to monitor both employees and guests by installing cameras in places where they seemed unnecessary.

The owner snapped his fingers and demanded, in a very forceful and disrespectful manner, that a staff member come to our table and take care of everything for us. We had not asked for this, and it made us feel uncomfortable because it happened right in front of us. The staff member appeared visibly tense despite doing their best to assist guests. There was a clear atmosphere of tension and fear among the employees.

A bizarre incident occurred when the owner, during an angry outburst, threw a television through the restaurant while guests were eating. He then blamed his staff for the broken TV, even though that was not the case. The mood in the restaurant immediately changed, and the tension was palpable. His employees ended up apologizing for the situation even though it was clearly not their fault.

One particularly uncomfortable moment occurred when the owner, who appeared intoxicated, stood at our table and repeatedly apologized on behalf of his staff. He kept talking and seemed unable to recognize that his presence had become unwelcome. In my opinion, there was no reason for him to apologize for his employees. On the contrary, the behavior that disturbed me most was his own. Rather than apologizing for his staff, I would have preferred to see him take responsibility for his own actions.

Great stay - with room for service improvements
Pros:

One of the most peaceful place on earth, I’ve stayed at. Calming vibes, great view, quiet with vibrant colors!

Cons:

There are tons of wildlife - not the dangerous kind but the annoying kind. There are geckos which poops on everything and I wish the housekeeping team would just make it a standard practice to clean the villa everyday! They also said they would come clean but then did not and when we returned late at night the villa was filled with gecko poop and no fresh towels and there’s poop on our towels, bedding and floors - it was very annoying

Amazing Villas in a very quiet area with private pool, fantastic view and exceptionally relaxed vibes. You can spend the whole day there and have a beautiful time. The staff is so nice, always with a smile on their face and fulfilled every wish we.had (room service of breakfast, lunch and dinner). We had to arrive a day later - they let us change the arrival date on the actual day of the arrival, which was very kind of them.
Overall the food was very good, the BBQ, the local food and the desserts were very good. The coffee and the breakfast are ok. We felt very much at home and would definitely come back.

Cons:

The views and the location of the villas are beautiful. The only downside was the closest beach was unfortunately full of trash at the moment of our stay. Note that this is a systemic issue of the island and not the responsibility of the resort.

Pros:

Wonderful staff and amazing accomodation. Live like a king for the week. Our 2-br villa was massive and the staff numbers matched the guests. We feel very fortunate. Food is great. Can rent a bike. Bumbang is the best part of Lombok.

Pros:

Our stay at Lobster Bay in Lombok was absolutely unforgettable. It is the perfect place to get away from the crowds, relax, and truly connect with nature. The resort is beautiful and peaceful, with incredible views that make the experience even more special. The people working there are incredibly welcoming, and communication was excellent, with instant responses every time.

The food was spectacular, especially the dishes prepared by Chefs Sapari and Anto. My personal favorite was the Beef Rendang with Rice, simply amazing. A special thank you to Nopi, Dika, Hany, and Joe, whose wonderful hospitality made our trip and stay truly memorable. Terima kasih! 😀

We would come back without a doubt!

While the villa, breathtaking views, and exceptional staff were outstanding, the experience was unfortunately marred by
Pros:

• The Villa & View: Absolutely breathtaking; a true dream.
• The Staff: Extremely helpful and attentive. They consistently checked in to ensure we were enjoying our stay.
• Location: The resort is quite secluded. If you are staying for an extended period, renting a scooter or budgeting for a private driver is essential.

Cons:

• Theft Incident: Unfortunately, we were robbed in our hotel room on our final night.
• Loss: A total of €300 (approx. 6,000,000 IDR) was taken from our room and wallets. We had withdrawn the cash that very day. The wallets were left in the room while we went to dinner—which we actually had at the resort's restaurant at the staff's suggestion.
• Discovery: We only realized the money was missing the following day when it came time to pay.
• Resolution Process: The resort is currently making an effort to resolve the matter, and CCTV footage is being reviewed.
• Safe Issue: We were unable to use the room safe because it was locked/out of order from the start. This was a hard lesson learned: from now on, we will insist on having the safe fixed immediately upon arrival.
