Birthday at Serena (Disappointed)
Pros:

We liked the overall ambience, services and food. The staff was polite, professional and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

Cons:

The managment doesn't know how to address customer grievances. I explicitly informed them about the arrangements I wanted for my spouse's birthday, which was the only reason we chose Serena over others. But they made a blunder and switched our cakes with someone else.
I opened the cake at the surprise party, which was happening around 20 km away at Nagar. And it was my worst nightmare."Happy Birthday Mustafa Hussain" was written on the cake🤦 I couldn't believe my eyes. They simply ruined the evening.
The worst part when I approached them regarding the mistake they made, the best compensate they offered was to give a waiver on cake I was literally disappointed. I refused to accept their compensation and paid in full.
If you ever wish to visit Serena, just pray you don't get into any dispute with them...coz they're simply incapable of understanding customer grievances and how to compensate justly.

Highly recommended - rightly called the best hotel in Pakistan!
Pros:

Everything - the lobby area, the room (including private balcony with stunning views views), the gym/spa (incl. the most beautiful heated pool I've ever swam in), and of course, the restaurant with a great blend of local and int'l dishes. And oh, the service - top notch in every department,

Cons:

Only one minor issue - the room key would get deactivated if you stepped out of the hotel without leaving the key at the lobby and informing them.
