Pros:

1 of the worst places ive ever stayed. the walls are paper thin so you can hear people arguing 2 rooms down. there was fights outside and people shouting in the courtyard at 1am then at 2am someone decided to have a disco. the staff hardly spoke english and we checked out a day early. awful. AVOID!!!!

Cons:

everything. noisy, grubby, and idiots shouting with zero staff around to sort it out. IT STANK OF WEED.

Too bad experience in terms of hygiene.
Pros:

There is nothing to like apart from the location.

Cons:

Rooms and toilets are not clean, suppose have a table as picture said but no table and no wardrobe to keep stuffs. Very very poor condition. I never suggest to book this hotel for living.

Absolutely nothing

Cons:

No coffee cups, no face towels, share toilets absolutely appalling condition, carpets melt awful, the bedroom only had a bed.
And chairs 1 mirror. God knows why they take are holding deposit. Because the facilities are disgusting.

Dear Hotel Manager,

I am writing to make a formal complaint about my recent stay at your hotel in Bolton.

Unfortunately, the condition of the accommodation was extremely disappointing and fell well below an acceptable standard. When my partner and I entered the room, it was visibly dirty and appeared unclean and unhygienic. There was also a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room, despite this being extremely unpleasant and inappropriate for guest accommodation.

To make matters worse, there were approximately 10–15 flies inside the room. This made the room extremely uncomfortable to stay in and raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the accommodation.

We did speak to the members of staff behind reception, who were polite and courteous towards us, and I want to make clear that I have no complaint regarding their attitude or customer service. However, we also spoke to another member of staff who appeared to be the cleaner and asked if we could have some fly spray. Rather than providing fly spray, we were given air freshener, which obviously did nothing to address the problem with the flies.

Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and not what we reasonably expected when paying to stay at a hotel. The condition of the room, the cigarette smell, the number of flies and the apparent lack of an appropriate response to the hygiene issue made our stay extremely unpleasant.

I would therefore like you to investigate this matter and provide an explanation as to how the room was considered suitable for guests. I would also like to request appropriate compensation or a refund in view of the condition of the accommodation and the experience we had.

I would appreciate a response addressing the issues raised above and explaining what action you intend to take.

Pros:

This motel is a little frayed and tired - but fundamentally, clean and serviceable and homely and pleasant. At short notice I booked a place in the middle of Bolton. It was spacious, comfy and cheap, and I felt safe. It had a broad mix from business travellers and workmen to young families and (I suspect) some immigrants, who were pleasant and courteous and generously insisted on sharing a large pot of food. The desk was manned all night and it has a sort of courtyard-atrium in the middle which I found quite pleasant at least in the summer. My room wasn't en-suite but I personally had no issue with that and was a minute from anything I needed from the town. Staff were accommodating and helpful

Cons:

It was fine, everything worked, it just seemed a little low on sheer number of bathrooms which meant you might be waiting a little in the morning. There is a fair bnit of outside noise on a weekend evening, but I had ear sponge anyway.,
