Really exceeded our expecations - definitely THE place to stay in Capraia
Pros:

The hotel was even more beautiful than in the photos online, and - completely unexpectedly, since there were no photos of it on booking.com - had a stunning and newly renovated pool that overlooked the sea, in a botanical garden wine and cheese bar space. We ended up eating at the wine and cheese (and vegetables, charcuterie etc) restaurant 2 nights that we were there. We were very pleasantly surprised by all of these unlisted amenities ! Also the bed is the comfiest bed I have ever slept on and we will be placing an order with the same mattress company. The staff were very accomodating, were able to find us a table last minute for dinner even though it was a national holiday and everything was booked up, and helped us to call and make bookings for excursions.

Cons:

Everything was wonderful and as mentioned the staff were lovely and amenable. The only thing we would change is that when we arrived there was no clear signposting to say that the reception desk had moved to the new space, so we were a bit lost and hung around a while.

Tre giorni nel blu e nella quiete di Capraia
Pros:

La camera era ampia e spaziosa con una bellissima terrazza vista mare, su cui abbiamo fatto colazione con caffè preparato con la macchina a disposizione della struttura e alcune cose comprate da noi.
