Precio conveniente, pero necesita renovarse
Pros:

El alojamiento cumple bien en los aspectos básicos. La ducha tiene buena presión y temperatura, el aire acondicionado funciona correctamente y el lugar se mantiene limpio. Su principal fortaleza es el precio, que ofrece una buena relación calidad–precio y termina compensando varias de sus carencias.

Cons:

Todo el hotel se siente demasiado anticuado, como un viaje al pasado. Desde el ascensor y los pasillos hasta las camas y los televisores, las instalaciones transmiten una sensación de falta de renovación más que de un estilo clásico. Si bien el mantenimiento es aceptable, da la impresión de que el establecimiento se ha quedado atrás con el paso de los años. Con algunas mejoras relativamente simples en mobiliario, decoración y equipamiento, podría ofrecer una experiencia mucho más agradable y moderna sin perder su buena relación precio–calidad.

great location, old style and good value
Pros:

location, big room

endless negative signs, you feel like a kid in an institution, rooms are old fashioned but clean

Good location and room, bad smell and lukewarm showers
Pros:

The room was spacious and exactly like in the pictures, even though the decor feels very old-timey. The location in El Cangrejo is great, many restaurants and bars and cafes around, more authentic Panama than staying in Casco Viejo for example.

Cons:

The room had a really odd and bad smell. It's hard to say what it was, if age, the constant humidity in the city, mold or old tobacco... In retrospect we should've asked for a room change and maybe it would've been better. A few reviews mention bad smell but most don't. We had the room for 4 nights and returned home after. All our luggage, clothes etc smells like the room, such though that we need to give even clean clothes a wash...

The showers did not get really warm. It was fine for a quick shower, but could be much better. We experienced the same in other hotels in Panama though, it seems to be a general thing.

The hotel is.located in a traditional neighbourhood, El Cangrejjo, just some steps to a 9 metro. station and near the modern neighbourhood Obarrio.

Cons:

The hot water in the shower was barely mild.
