Would not stay here again
Pros:

Cons:

Room was extremely hot and fan did not help.
Had to keep curtains open to access windows.. unfortunately there is construction going on directly across from our room and there are several very bright lights on all night.

Pleasant.
Pros:

The location and the friendliness of the staff.

Cons:

The room size was smaller than expected. We stayed before and had a bigger room for the price we paid for one night we expected a similar room to the first room on the previous stayed.
The room was very warm and quite clostophobic.

Pros:

Läget är väldigt bra. Jag gillade baren och personalen var kunniga och trevliga. Bussförbindelserna var utmärkta. Sängen var bekväm även om det var gemensamt täcke i Quensize-sängen. Dusch och toalett var fräsch och fungerade bra.

Cons:

Det tog förvånansvärt lång tid att få kaffe/the för att inte tala om frukostbrickan. Allt var sådant man be3ställde av personalen, inget man hämtade själv. Rummet saknade AC och man behövde öppna fönstren för att få in frisk luft, men då fick man även in gatuljuden. Hotellet var nog toppen för 10 år sedan

Nice place,not sure cost is fair. But clean and great location
Pros:

Location is amazing.
The water stream in the shower is strong.
Women's very simple and basic. very modest.
It's not around to stay at is just a room to put your head and take a shower

Very pleasant stay in a comfortable and classy hotel near the city centre.
Pros:

The location is excellent, as it is away from most of the tourists, but still in the centre of the city and close to public transportation, restaurants and pubs. The room was nicely decorated and had the necessary amenities, and the breakfast was excellent.

Cons:

The room was small and had the view of an alley. It was also warm, lacking good ventilation. There was no fan in the bathroom and very few power plugs in the room. The beds were comfortable, but small, which they had to be to fit in the room.

De ligging en de bar.

Cons:

Ongepaste houding en onvriendelijkheid vooral bij het ontbijt.
Ontbijt was in de eindprijs in begrepen, toch een bijkomend bedrag moeten bijbetalen.
Bad met douche vereist een zekere lenigheid om eruit te stappen, m.a.w. niet voor een ouder publiek.
Geen degelijke receptie, constant onbemand.

Hotel graziosissimo. Camere pulite e confortevoli e con molto stile. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Struttura molto caratteristica. Comodo al centro... ci si può spostare a piedi per visitare un sacco delle attrazioni principali

Great location just round the corner from the castle but very quiet and away from the crowds.
Pros:

Breakfast was great. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room was cleaned each day and water and biscuits always replenished. The lift was convenient. Each room is themed to a famous Scottish person- we had Denis law which i liked. The bath was a bonus.

Cons:

The room was very hot and there was no air conditioning. The window opened but onto an enclosed courtyard so there was no breeze and the dyson device in the room was just a fan.

Great place
Pros:

The room was lovely, well done and a comfortable bed. Staff were helpful and friendly. Great location, near enough the centre of things but quiet still. Close to the tram for the airport or Waverley

Cons:

The bath side was super high and as a short person was hard to get into for my shower!

Disappointing stay
Pros:

Good central location. On arrival, staff able to accommodate luggage to allow us to see a matinee show at the theatre.

Cons:

On returning to the hotel, after a show, there was a significant wait to check in. Staff advised they were busy serving at the bar.

Next morning, we were unable to enjoy any form of gluten free breakfast. Hotel did not have any gluten free bread and were unable to facilitate any alternative options, suggested by the customer, using other items on the menu. When raised with staff on checking out the response was 'oh, well'.
