Location was great and rooms were clean and comfortable
The beds. Made a lot of noise when you move. The reception staff were ok but I not particularly welcoming

The room was very cramped, staff had to rearrange furniture just for us to reach both sides of bed. Room was immediately above weekend live music in bar, so was noisy our 2 nights there
Our 3rd stay. We love the location. Always like being able to have coffee in room with chocolate marshmallow. Great bed.
The hotel is showing its age. Missing towel hook on back of bathroom door. Hot water never really “hot.” Windows were filthy. The young lady at front desk during later afternoon hours couldn’t have been more disinterested. We stopped at the bar for a nightcap, she walked by us two or three times from her position behind the bar. Never made eye contact. She doesn’t belong in the hospitality industry.
Location is good
Room was small and too hot, shower was a death trap and didnt work properly, breakfast was inedible. This is by far the worst hotel stay I've had in Edinburgh and the £375 rate per night was an absolute rip-off.
The names of the bedrooms, the quirky uneven floors, the fantastic lounge.

The location and the music acts on an evening.
The staff didn't know what they were doing as to checking in, getting around the hotel without use of the lift. The service at breakfast was lamentable! Expensive and poor service and not great quality. By the time breakfast arrived my coffee was finished.
The window in the room didn't open.
