Dirty room, broken amenities, unprofessional staff

Dirty room, broken amenities, unprofessional staff.

We booked this after reading the reviews. But to our surprise, it turned out to be a nightmare. The first room that was aloted to us, had only 1 bright redish light. All other lights were not working, fan was also not working. And the bathroom was leaking. After we informed the receptionist, 2 staffs came tried many things including trying to convince us adjusting to the room as there are no rooms available despite our very early booking. Finally, we were provided with a second room. There lights were working, but it had a broken small fan this time which only faces down, and on top of that, discovered cockroache and other insects in the room. We asked for a paid upgrade as well after going through all these ordeal. But they simply said it’s against the policy and they cannot provide a better room despite our willingness to pay extra.
Ultimately, we had no choice but to leave the hotel as it is and checked out. There was still no proper response from the receptionist, even a simple word of “sorry”.
