I personally couldn’t of asked for anything more from my stay.
Pros:

Didn’t have breakfast, location was perfect
, was very quiet location and central for everything.
Will definitely stay here again. Thank you for being so nice, friendly and helpfull.

Cons:

I liked everything, the hotel was exactly as described.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Property owners are very nice. Very caring too. Room was clean. Bathroom is clean. Even though it's your private bathroom , it's outside the room. Small balcony is in one room and we can see the sea. There are tea and coffee making facilities. We did not use toaster or th microwave. Little fridge was in the room as well. Shops and cafes are nearby.

Cons:

Owners/staff are very nice and hotel is near the beach. Popular eateries are nearby.

Pros:

Freundliches Personal. Die Zimmer sind vor nicht langer Zeit renoviert worden, es wird zur Zeit auch noch renoviert. Gäste werden dadurch aber nicht gestört.

Cons:

Das Zimmer ist sehr klein, in der Beschreibung werden 30qm angegeben. Es sind eher 12qm.

Would not come there for another stay
Pros:

Location was very close to the Beach front , about 10 mins walk to the Pier and the restaurants .

Cons:

The room with the sea view but very small and claustrophobic. There was not pleasant smell inside also which wanted us to just drop things then leave . The bathroom was ok newly installed but hot and very and small , the smallest double room oh we stayed it

Stressful because of the Fire Eacape facilities ( there were none)

I am very concerned how Booking.com advertises this property. We were on the top floor (4 flights of stairs). There is no Fire Escape in this property , there are Fire Escape signage but you actually have to run down the 4 flights of stairs and out of the front door . If there was a fire on the ground floor everyone would be trapped.
I am considering contacting Tendring Fire Dept about this , it is not acceptable

Lovely Location for a get away
Pros:

Location was great, a ten min walk to the pier. A great locals pub across the bowling green, and easy to park.

Cons:

The two things that i would recommend - softer pillows as they are rock hard and black out blinds as the sun was up at 4am, as were we.

Pros:

Friendly welcome, escorted to room and everything explained very well. Room was clean and well appointed.

Cons:

As I'd booked the last room available on the day, I ended up on the top floor and stairs can be hard work on my knees.
