Fabulous stay. The lodge is very comfortable, breakfast and diners were really good. We also enjoyed playing snooker.

Schöne Lodge in toller Lage
Pros:

Sehr schön gelegen am Poas mit eigenem kleinen Wanderweg durch den Regenwald.
Wir haben vor Ort ein Upgrade erbeten, da das ursprüngliche Zimmer uns gar nicht gefiel und es extrem muffig roch. Das Personal ist dem sehr nett begegnet und hat uns ein besseres Zimmer gegeben, für das wir nur einen kleinen Aufpreis zahlen mussten.
Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mitten in der Natur. Empfehlenswert!

Cons:

Erstes Zimmer roch extrem muffig. Frühstück hätte etwas variantenreicher sein können.

En la entrada al alojamiento hay dos zanjas laterales en el camino hacia recepción. Por la noche parece suelo, es fácil no verlo y caer, y la caída puede ser peligrosa.

Pros:

El lugar es muy bonito, las instalaciones son muy cómodas. Las áreas comunes son hermosas.

Cons:

No me gustó la entrada hacia el hotel, pasa por un potrero con calle angosta, y siendo una zona lluviosa hace que toda la calle esté embarrada de boñiga y que, aunque se pase despacio con el vehículo, este termine todo embarrado y mal oliente.

Accueil exceptionnel! La dame nous a aidé avec la réservation du volcan. Chambres très confortables et propres. Entouré de montagnes et ferme et sentiers de randonnée. Restaurant excellent. Billard. Commodités pour le froid de la région (foyer au bois, couvertures chauffantes). Proximité volcan Poas et La Paz waterfalls and gardens.

Great ambiance and location (if you like outdoors). Great view and velvet bedlinen. Facilities are very good. Good shower and bed.
Some of the staff like Claudia were caring and attentive.

Cons:

I thought the place is a bit rundown (toilets and plumbing so so), and it wasn't as clean. But the place was not spotless clean, and some of the food lackluster. I also thought much of the male staff was perfunctory in their hospitality.
