Pros:

This is a couple's house and the owners are so friendly. They spent half an hour giving me advice about the town and visiting the nearby islands for hiking. It's a 5-10 minute walk from the train station with good food options nearby. The room is very comfortable Japanese style on tatami mats and more spacious than a typical Japanese style hotel. The owners left a little Wakkanai potato cookie in the room which was delicious and also left a little note. Very nice homey touch and great to deal with real people. Definitely recommend this place if you come up here.

Cons:

It's a shared bathroom which isn't a big deal considering they are only 3 rooms I think and 2 bathrooms, but the price is rather expensive for a shared bathroom situation. There are also no bidets on the toilets.

Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist makellos sauber und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Ambiente ist eine schöne Mischung aus nordischem und japanischen Stil. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar oder man kann sich einen kleinen Roller ausleihen. Das Damwild ist so zahm, dass es manchmal vor der Haustür steht. Das Gastgeberpaar ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann Lulustay wärmstens empfehlen.

室内もとても綺麗で、快適に過ごせました。

Wakkanai is far, but I would like to go again.
Pros:

LuLu Stay is a wonderful place!
The deer-themed decorations everywhere are very well-thought-out. In addition, Yuji-san was also kind and we had an enjoyable time talking together. He offered good recommendations for our trip.

Lastly, the house rules are very reasonable (shower available until midnight in fixed time slots, quiet time after 22:00, etc.)

I hope to be back again :)

¡Mejor que un hotel!
Pros:

Una pequeña casa decorada con muy buen gusto y muy acogedora. Los espacios comunes son excelentes así como el trato con los dueños. Solo tres habitaciones. Aparcamiento allí mismo. Volvería sin duda.

Cons:

Habitación muy pequeña y algo calurosa pero compensado por unos espacios comunes excelentes .

95点くらいです！親切にしていただき楽しい旅行ができました！
Pros:

インテリアが鹿モチーフの北欧インテリアで統一されてて可愛いかったです。
そして本当にシカが通りにちらほらいましま꒰*´艸｀*꒱

Cons:

たまたま稚内の1番暑い時期に行ってしまい、少々暑かったですがきっと年に数日しかないレアな日でした。

宿泊者にもう少し配慮してもいいのではないか

宿泊出来る宿があった

Cons:

今後トイレをウオッシュレット
にした方が良い
朝いばんの電車で旅立つと伝えていたが玄関と部屋の鍵の処置は聞いていたが、雨降りで雨に打たれながら駅に歩いて行った
