Disappointed there's no early check out
Pros:

Cons:

Early check out was not possible. The hotel has 2 different desks on separate levels for check out. The main checkout desk on Level 3 is open from 9am to 9pm. The smaller checkout desk on Level 3A is supposed to be open from 9pm to 9am, but it wasn't. I needed to check out at 8am but the desk was unmanned and the door to the main desk was locked. I waited a long time and finally had to leave and come back later in the day to return the key and get my deposit back.
There should be somebody on duty 24/7 for check out. In won't stay there again

Our group had a fantastic stay at The Corner Club Hotel Penang, and we would happily recommend it to anyone visiting George Town.

One of the biggest highlights is its excellent location. It’s conveniently situated close to many of Penang’s famous attractions, cafés, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it easy to explore the city while still enjoying a peaceful and comfortable place to return to after a day out.

We were especially impressed by the size of our rooms. They were exceptionally spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with plenty of room to relax and unpack without ever feeling cramped. It’s not often you find hotel rooms this generously sized, and it really made our stay much more enjoyable.

The bathrooms deserve a special mention too. They were wonderfully large, spotlessly clean, and featured a lovely, spacious shower with excellent water pressure. It felt more like a luxury hotel bathroom than what we had expected, and it added a touch of indulgence to our stay.

Another huge advantage is the ample basement parking provided for guests. Having secure, convenient parking is a real bonus, especially in George Town where parking can often be difficult to find. It gave us great peace of mind throughout our stay.

Most importantly, we were impressed by the professionalism of the hotel staff. Everyone we met was courteous, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. Their friendly service and attention to detail made us feel well looked after from check-in to check-out.

Overall, The Corner Club Hotel offers outstanding value with its spacious and comfortable accommodation, modern facilities, excellent location, secure parking, and exceptional hospitality. It exceeded our expectations in every way, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Penang.

Above average room but need improvement.
Pros:

Great location, value for money.

Cons:

Air conditioning not cold enough, perhaps long time no servicing.
Slipper in room was Japanese slipper and didn’t dried off hence slipper still in wet condition.

Pros:

There's a water purifier machine at 3A that you can get your hot/warm/cold water there. Staffs are helpful and polite. Check in and out process is smooth.

Cons:

Car parking is limited. Certain timing might have functions at level 2 that more customers checking in, resulting no parking available at basement.
Sound proof is not that good, during the nights for room that faces the main road, will still able to hear the cars/motorbikes sound.
