The staff is the greatest asset especially the service crew in the outlets.
The reception team misses connection, responsiveness and while respectful, they rather answer with a No or I don't know than trying to help with your questions.
The product is really outdated, in desperate need for refurbishment. While an old product is part of the business, its maintenance in this establishment is rather poor. The air in the rooms and on the corridors was simply unbearable. We stayed for 5 nights paying full price and , if we wouldn't have paid already, we would have left the property.
Being a hotelier myself for more than 20 yrs now, I can also say that investing into your product will help improve and capture a higher customers'base while ensuring a healthy trading.
A big item to be addressed was the fact that we tried to book direct and we couldn't, the property IBE was simply down which is why we ended up on Booking.com.
I contacted twice the hotel in writing, I never received an answer to my emails and all exchange was via Booking extranet after.
These are small details but bog when it comes to travellers and their interaction with the hotel.
We ate on site given the raining days we got daily and the food offering while limited , was tasty
The location is great but the product and its staff responsiveness, both require attention
Breakfast was very good, staff made sure guests were able to enjoy the food choices
With the breakfast menu, there wasn't any issues.
The customer service, breakfast was great. Daniel, Gifty, Angela, Frederick, were great.

Clean, correct food
I enjoyed the multiple entertainment areas and options for food and drink. We really enjoyed the pizzas at the Lagoon bar. Breakfast options were excellent each day.
The calamari at the Lagoon bar was very disappointing. The walk to Room 368 in the rain could be avoided by an easily erected sheltered path, umbrellas weren't always available.

Het viel ons op dat het personeel ons niet op dezelfde manier behandelde. Tegen mij waren ze merkbaar vriendelijker dan tegen mijn partner, die een donkere huidskleur heeft. Er leek sprake te zijn van een zekere voorkeursbehandeling, wat voor ons aanvoelde als een vorm van racisme.
