L’emplacement est exceptionnel pour le coucher de soleil et la tranquillité. Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique et plein de bons conseils. On reviendra les yeux fermés.

Fantastic place, it perfectly fits to the atmosphere of the island. I wish we had booked for a few more days, but we will come back for sure.

A környezet, a szobából kilépve a tengerparton érzed magad. A személyzet maximálisan figyel minden vendégre, teljesítve az összes kívánságukat. A naplemente innen a legszebb. A faházak beleillenek ebbe a dzsungeles és tengerpartos milliőbe, a természetközeli a madárcsicsergés, a tenger zúgása, a kis gekkók és Sanga, a macska ❤️ A tulajdonosok is a helyszínen vannak, mindenben segítenek.

Perfekt gelegen auf der wunderschönen Nordseite von Gili Air, aufmerksames und bemühtes Personal, nette Gastgeber, schöne Hütten, tolle Atmosphäre. Rundum wunderbar.

Good, quiet location. Amazing staff. Beach front, great sunsets, good snorkelling and great vibes.

We had the most incredible, peaceful stay. The hotel has an amazing location right in front of the beach. The staff and the owners are the sweetest. We highly recommend doing a snorkeling boat trip that they can book for you. The room has everything you could need. Overall amazing experience, hope we can revisit someday!

Hele leuke huisjes op een schitterende plek. De eigenaren zijn super gastvrij en ook het hele team heel enthousiast en lief. Je kan direct voor de deur de zee in om te snorkelen. Daar ligt een heel mooi koraalrif en wij hebben daar ook schildpadden gezien. Het is een klein paradijsje daar!

Maya et Fabien nous on accueillis dans ce merveilleux cocon à l’occasion de mon anniversaire. Tout était parfait ils nous ont donné de nombreux conseils, le snorkeling face au logement était dingue, la nourriture et les cocktails délicieux.

Les photos ne rendent pas justice à cet endroit absolument magnifique. C’est un véritable havre de paix, un lieu hors du temps où tout invite à la détente. Le personnel contribue largement à cette expérience exceptionnelle grâce à sa gentillesse, son accueil chaleureux et son sourire constant. On s’y sent presque comme chez soi… mais avec les pieds dans l’eau et une vue imprenable sur le coucher du soleil. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

De accommodatie was echt geweldig! Wij vonden dit deel van het eiland veruit het mooiste. Je stapt de deur uit en staat direct op het strand, echt een fantastische locatie.

De ontbijtjes waren iedere ochtend heerlijk, vers en met veel zorg bereid. De eigenaren en het hele team zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Ze doen er alles aan om je welkom te laten voelen, waardoor je je echt thuis voelt.

In de directe omgeving vind je volop leuke en goede restaurants, allemaal op korte loopafstand. Er is echt voor ieder wat wils.

We hebben zelfs besloten om ons verblijf met twee nachten te verlengen, omdat we het hier zo fijn hadden. Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf en zouden deze accommodatie zonder twijfel aan iedereen aanbevelen.

Majiteľ Fabien so svojou ženou boli skvelí a ochotní ľudia, dostali sme dokonca mapu s tipmi zaujímavých miest a reštaurácii na ostrove. Personál bol vždy ochotný a usmievavý, pozdravujeme najmä Man-a (experta na pozorovanie korytnačiek :))
Ubytovanie sa nachádza v pokojnejšej časti ostrova, čo nam vyhovovalo a je najkrajším miestom na sledovanie západu slnka.
K ubytovaniu patrí časť pláže, s lehatkami a slnečníkmi zdarma a na pár krokov je plážový bar. Ďakujeme za všetko a určite sa radi vrátime!

La Bohème was probably the best accommodation we have ever stayed in—and we travel a lot around the world.
We stayed in a beachfront bungalow where you step out of your room directly onto the sand. The views were absolutely breathtaking from morning until night. Waking up to the ocean, watching the changing colors throughout the day, and ending every evening with what is arguably the best sunset on Gili Air was simply unforgettable.
The location is perfect if you're looking for peace and authenticity. It's on the quieter side of the island, away from the busy harbor area. You'll need to push your bicycle for a short section of sandy path, but horse carts can easily reach the property. We found the horses on Gili Air to be well treated and healthy, and using them felt completely acceptable.
What truly makes La Bohème special are the owners, Maya and Fabian. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They took the time to explain everything about the island, recommended excellent restaurants, helped us arrange laundry, and even connected us with the best captain for our snorkeling trip.
The whole place immerses you in island life and creates a genuine connection with nature. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and authentic.
The staff are exceptional. Rizky 1 and Rizky 2 are incredibly friendly, always smiling, and genuinely enjoy talking with guests. Their warmth made our stay even more memorable.
The food deserves a special mention. The menu has French and Spanish Basque influences, something quite unique for Gili Air, and everything we tried was excellent. They also serve very good wine, which is a rare treat on a small island.
As a bonus, there is a beautiful coral reef directly in front of the property, making snorkeling incredibly easy and convenient.
If we ever return to Gili Air, there is absolutely no question where we will stay.

I can’t find a single fault with our stay at La Boheme. The location was perfect for enjoying the sunset over the sea with a lovely cocktail and the staff always brought it to you with a smile. The beach hut was very comfortable for our small family and the outdoor shower was an added bonus. We didn’t eat the breakfast, but the evening snacks were very tasty.
