One night, stay in Ella
Pros:

It's very cosy and small cottage with four rooms. Bed is very comfortable to sleep in. Try to get a room on the top floor as the views are better. However, all rooms face the mountains. Overall, it was a pleasant 1 night stay.

Cons:

It took a while for the shower to heat up. Some floor towels would have been helpful to wipe my feet in the bathroom.The room was a bit dark.

Eine Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht und freundlichen Personal
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und schmackhaft. Weiterhin hat uns die Lage sehr gut gefallen. Man hatte vom Balkon einen wundervollen Ausblick. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit wie aber in allen Unterkünften die wir hatten.

Cons:

Der Pool war recht klein und die Wasserqualität war eher mäßig. Das Personal war aber sehr bemüht, die Qualität zu verbessern. Deshalb war es für uns so in Ordnung.

Pros:

La chambre est correcte; (même si la salle de bain n’est vraiment pas pratique, on mets de l’eau partout malgré la présence d’une raclette)

Cons:

Le personnel, 2 ou 3 jeunes qui n’ont sans doute jamais été formés, ne parlent pas anglais, Acceuil compliqué, ils arrivent à l’hôtel à 7:30 pour un petit déjeuner qui est supposé commencer à 7:30, n’hésitent pas à déposer un set de table sale devant vous, dans un local minuscule ( voir photo), bref ils n’ont aucune notion de service et de restauration, même au Sri Lanka un minimum est de rigueur. L’hôtel est situé à proximité d’une décharge, ce qui limite fortement voir interdit l’usage de la terrasse. Une route passe à proximité et engendre pas mal de bruit. Le rapport qualité /prix n’est pas bon, je ne le recommande pas.

Pros:

Amazing views, good breakfast.

Cons:

Pool was very cloudy, so didnt use it. We stayed on top floor, stairs very steep. Some were wooden and very unstable., tied together with wire. Shower was hot in the evening but next morning freezing.

Stunning views in Ella.
Pros:

Lovely helpful staff. Hotel tuk tuk was a bonus. The pool is beautiful. Views are stunning especially from the balcony outside our room. Fabulous breakfast of fruits, egg hoppers and curry. Spacious room on the top floor- steep stairs to get to it.

Cons:

Would be good if the upstairs room had a mosquito net over the bed as the double doors to the outside didn’t quite close properly and allowed the bugs in.

Fijn!
Pros:

Ruime kamer met goeie koeling en airco. Fijne badkamer met warme douche. Zwembad is mooi en uitzicht fantastisch. Centrum is makkelijk te bereiken via de trap dus dat is top! Ontbijt hebben we 1x gehad omdat we de andere 2 dagen al vroeg wat gingen doen. Was uitgebreid en prima!

Cons:

Zwembad is heel erg koud en bedjes zijn van hout wat niet heel chill ligt. Je hebt soms beestjes in de kamer, vonden wij niet erg maar wel goed om te vermelden.

Pros:

Vriendelijk personeel, prachtig uitzicht.

Cons:

Raam was kapot naar het balkon. Het raam van de badkamer s alleen een schutter en de deuren naar het balkon kieren, waardoor je veel last hebt van muggen en insecten. Het zwembad water was wat troebel.

L'emplacement, le calme, le petit déjeuner et la petite attention dans la chambre pour notre voyage de noces.

Il manque un meuble ou une tablette dans la salle de bain pour poser les affaires de toilettes.
