The perfect weekend getaway.
Pros:

From the main hall reception, our room, the leisure centre and Blossoms bar and restaurant, they were all kept to an exceptionally high standard. All staff helpful, friendly and polite. Stunning property with rich history.

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous grounds.
Pros:

Beautiful property in an excellent location. Spacious rooms. Large restaurant. Amazing garden and grounds.

Cons:

On a negative note, we booked the lake view king bedroom. When we arrived we were shown to a ground floor room with no lake view, it did have a garden view but definitely could not see the lake at all from the outside patio. At the price we paid and the description of the room it was very disappointing to be given that room. I went back to reception who changed it for a room on the floor above which did have a lake view. Advice to the hotel, call the other room a garden view room! Also at the buffet breakfast I was advised if I wanted to have a flat white coffee and not the regular coffee served at the buffet that I had to pay £4 per coffee! After paying £700 for a two night stay I found it very poor service and cheap to charge me extra for a decent coffee.
